Announcing the First Annual “Bamaroo”!
In the past 20 years The Alabama Music Hall of Fame has worked hard to honor all styles of music and is dedicated to the preservation and celebration of Alabama’s musicians. So we are proud to announce the first project that will help promote up and coming Alabama musicians to many music business professionals and the rest of the world and who will someday make history.
Bamaroo is a 2-day Music Festival at the Alabama Music Hall of Fame in the foothills of beautiful Tuscumbia, Alabama--just minutes from the famous recording capital of Muscle Shoals. This festival will showcase a select few up and coming bands and musicians from our great state. The festival is scheduled for May 21 and 22 of 2010.
We are in the process of selecting the finest talent the state has to offer with bands that will begin this historic tradition with us.

Len Wade and The Tikis should be in the Alabama Music Hall of Fame!!! Len has 2 songs on Itunes : "Love Comes and Goes" and "Everybody's Clown". Thank you for adding us. I remember performing there @ the grand opening - I played guitar for Steve Valdez ( Mike Dillon ) on drums. We were one of the bands that opened for Shenandoah.
