Alana Joy has always been a strong, independent, driven, and resilient girl. She grew up in New York, and then later moved with her family to South Florida. On her own from a young age, she took control of her life and made it her mission to make her future better than the start she had. In 1999 she moved to Los Angeles, by herself, to immerse herself passionately in making her dreams come true. From childhood she spent most of her time taking voice, dance, gymnastics, and acting classes, and found herself lost in the beautiful world that is art, where emotions are tangible. Alana Joy has been recording original songs, which she also writes herself, since 2005. Dear John, Taking Our Time, What Love Looks Like, Ode To Love And Music, and a mixtape track called Renegade, over the Jay-Z & Eminem track of the same name. She also sang background vocals on "Hopeless Crooks With Open Books" by Existereo of the Shapeshifters. After spending some time feeling out her personal style, KISSED A GIRL is the new single that she has been waiting for! She is already working on more songs with the same producer, and the next one for two songs is already in the works!
