Alan Badoev is the most prominent director of music videos on the territory of CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States). Author of more than 250 music videos for numerous top-level Russian and Ukrainian singers. Music video production takes place in Ukraine applying the best contemporary technologies. In 2010 Alan Badoev has finished the filming of an international project – musical motion picture Mademoiselle Zhivago starring an infamous singer Lara Fabian. Within the framework of the project 12 short-length films were screened.
Within Alan Badoev’s body of work there also is a collaboration with the grand opera singer Dmitri Hvorostovsky, for whom the director has made a music video for the song “You and I”. On December 2010 Alan Badoev has filmed a first on the territory of CIS music video in 3D format.
Alan Badoev’s first full-length feature film OrangeLove (2006) was given a warm welcome from European critics and named “the first real motion picture of a modern Ukrainian cinematograph” at the Cannes Film Festival. ..

Alan Badoev has been recognized as " The Best Music Video Director" according to RU.TV! It was Roman Viktyuk who appeared to present "The Best Music Video Director" Award to Alan Badoev The 1 first prize of the Russian music channel RU.TV Award in the concert hall "October" gathered Philip Kirkorov, Veru Brezhnevu, Alan Badoev, Nikolai Baskov, Dima Bilan, Potap and Nastya ... and many others! The best of the best were given handmade samovars for their achievements in music. According to TV channel RU.TV the Ukrainian director Alan Badoev was recognized unanimously the best music video director receiving the special award RU.TV – “The Best Video Director”! It was Roman Vikhtiuk, the Honoured Art Worker, famous theatrical director, who appeared on the scene to give the Award to Alan Director. Roman Grigorievich told that he had come to the ceremony only to give the honourable statuette to Alan Badoev and to congratulate him personally. The fact that on October,1 the First Russian Music TV Channel RU.TV Award was given is worth being mentioned. The singer Niusha with the song “To Chose a Miracle” opened the ceremony. Then the masters of the party Nikolai Baskov y Viktoria Bonia appeared on the scene. The main prize of the RU.TV Award was a special statuette, a small handmade samovar on the elegant glass stand produced by Tulskii Plant in 1980 .
