Bio
I've been playing and writing music for about 35 years. .. Everyone tells me I have my own styles of music. .. Folk-rock, Jazz, Folk, Blues, New age, Classical, swing, finger-picking stuff, boogie and more . . . most of the music is pretty jazzy. Several of the non-instrumental songs have 4-part harmonies. .. I channel my current mood into music, & write and play what I feel. So I write many different styles. I'm usually pretty upbeat - and so is my music . . . .. I'm thirsty and always ready to drink from a stream of fresh inspiration. .. When I practice or perform, I am not 'here;' I am in a different place and a different time . . . .. While looking for the right 'flavor' chord for a new song, I still stumble on new chords, and new feelings . . . .. I've accumulated several hundred chords, and thus exposed or discovered hundreds of new musical-emotions . . . sometimes the emotions create the songs - sometimes the songs create the emotions . . . .. If we play 10 songs, you'll likely hear 9-10 different styles of music . . . . . . over 50 copyrighted songs, so far . . . composed over 100 . . . .. All my spare time is spent writing new music, writing new lyrics, recording, or rehearsing with the group, now. Everything is music . . . I have invested thousands and thousands of hours of my life . . . I'm able, ready, and willing . . . . .. "I like your easy-breezy style." - Christopher Morse, Songwriter . Bio:
I'm been playing and writing music for about 35 years. It's not easy to say what style of music I'm playing. I'm always asking, because I don't know . . . most people tell me I have my own style . . .
My songs sound similar to Jazz, Folk, Blues, Rock, New age, Fusion, Classical, swing, finger-picking stuff, boogie and more . . . most of the music is pretty jazzy.
I write and play what I feel; I channel my current mood into music. I have a lot of changing feeling, and so does my music. So I write in a lot of different styles. I'm usually pretty upbeat - and so is my music . . .
I'm thirsty and always need to drink from a stream of fresh inspiration.
When I practice or perform, I am not here; I am in a different place and a different time . . .
While looking for the right ‘flavor’ chord for a new song, I still stumble on new chords, new sounds. And new feelings . . .
I've accumulated several hundred chords, and exposed or discovered hundreds of new emotions, mostly good . . .
Sometimes my feelings creat the songs - sometimes my songs create the feelings . . .
I like a lot of different styles of music. If I play 10 songs, you'll likely hear 9-10 different styles of music . . . I've over 50 copyrighted songs, so far . . .
I had been perfoming solo instrumentals for years, but now I'm teamed up with Jill Bowen, Chris Lennox and Joe Cavanagh. With a bass, a harmonica, and several sets of vocals, the songs are more fleshed out.
All my spare time is spent writing new music, writing new lyrics, recording, or rehearsing with the group, now. Everything is music . . .
So - what does the future hold for me, for us? Well - so far I have invested thousands and thousands of hours of my life . . . so I'm able, ready, and willing . . . .
Make me an offer . . .
