Biography.
Ailean
MacRath-MacPharlain ((alias) – Scottish Gaelic, Alan MacRae-MacFarlane),
real-name Alan Craw. Is a well-known and renowned speaker/lecturer in the
Pagan/Witchcraft community, and is a member of numerous Pagan/Occult
organisations committees.

Member – Fellowship of Isis.
He has lectured across the UK at many Pagan/Witchcraft Moots, Gatherings,
Camps and Conferences, including The Beltane Bash, Oakleaf Circle Camps, and
others.
Ailean,
is the author of 4 books which have been published privately within a
limited/small circulation print run. He has also written many articles on the
subjects of Witchcraft, Esoteric and Occult, which have been published in
numerous Pagan/Occult Magazines.
He
is the previous founder-member of the British Council of Traditional Witchcraft,
and the founding member of the Traditional Witchcraft Research Network, he is
also the editor of the TWRN’s official magazine – The Wytches’ Standard,
which has had 4 successful individual issues published previously (the magazine
is currently on hold until further notice?!?).
And
the editor of the 1990’s cult-status Pagan/Gothic music fanzine/magazine –
Cyrkel Spynn Magazine, which originally was printed between 1995 – 1997, and
relaunched in 2006. Which was the first ever Pagan music magazine in the World,
and is the UK if not Europe’s Premier or Leading Pagan/Gothic Music, Contacts
and Culture magazine.
Ailean
or Alan, is also the Managing-Director of DMMG (DisAssociation Music & Media
Group) which is home to: Cyrkel Spynn Publications (Publishers of Cyrkel Spynn
Magazine, The Wytches’ Standard Magazine, and numerous limited print-run
booklets the Occult/Esoteric and Gothic genre), Altar-Ego Music (music
publishers), Dark & Wise Recordings (compilation recording label), Seventh
Hell Recordings (Pagan/Esoteric/Gothic/Folk record label), DMMG Records UK
(Gothic/Electro/Industrial/Post-Punk/Alternative record label), and DMMG
Management & Promotions (management, promotions, and distribution label).
Ailean or Alan, is also a semi-professional musician
(drums/percussion, keyboards and some guitars), music journalist (see above),
label manager (see above), events promoter/organiser, author/writer (see above),
and generally very busy creating a and promoting most things Pagan and Gothic
within the genre he is so heavily buried or entombed within.
