I..ve got my obvious roots,but i..m always trying to experiment with sounds to create music with an edge or an original sound! I..m told i sound like the perfect mix of Motorhead and Hawkwind This is reflected in my solo albums! My band is called "GUNSLINGER" (we kick ass by the way!), and have been trading songs via tapes and cd..s under this name since 1979!! My synth music is my own style!! Because of the popularity of the Elf EP, many Hawkwind fans have asked if there is any more 4 track demos around from that time. After going thru my old tapes I've managed to get 4 volumes of about 70mins each in length! So yes there is some more and its good stuff! The 1st volume is from 1986-87 and includes original demos of Sword of the East, Chasing the Dragon and a version of the Pink Panther theme, Motorhead style!! This is a limited edition run of 500 per volume, with 4 volumes in all, so they will be collectable like the Elf EP is! Included in the 4 volumes are the original demos for "Sword of the East", "Wings", "Chasing the Dragon", "Back in the Box", "Blue Shift", "Wave upon Wave", "Xenomorph", "Sputnik Stan", and a Motorhead style version of the Pink Panther Theme!! There's approx. 60 tracks in all to collect !!

Hi Alan. I'm very "curious" on that album, I think you 've been making real great songs both as Bedouin, A.D, Gunslinger, Electric Devils and of course the track you made with Hawkwind were splendid. There's one I''ve never heard live which I really love and that's "Wings". Cheers to the band and may all of you still have a nice summer and a nice tour to US if you'll go.
Hi AD, been listening to Eclectic Devils everyday for about a week now! It's really good! Ya weren't jokin when you said it was different than other stuff you've done were ya! It's different alright, but in a brilliant way! I love the title track, also love the instrumental jammy bits on there too! Too High made me think quite alot... Just a really good album AD! Hey Alan, the gigs at the Metro and the T.L.S. meeting were awesome, Gunslinger rules ,i also bought the eclectic devils cd and i have no words for it. I'm sure i will have every Alan Davey cd in my collection in a very short time ;-)
