Alan Chin

About me:

I'm a writer. I write novels, short stories and screenplays. In 1999, I retired from Information Technology to devote all my time to my three hobbies: writing, traveling, and tennis. During that same timeframe, I legally changed my name to Alan Chin, so that I could share the same family name as my husband, Herman Chin.   I turned serious about my writing in 2002, and began working on my first novel. I have published two novels with Zumaya Publications: Island Song (Sept, 2008) and The Lonely War (Nov. 20090. I am currently working on a fourth novel and two screenplays.  I live and write half of each year at my home in Northern California, and spend the other half of each year traveling the globe.
