Alan Lebetkin is an up and coming young comedian known for his offbeat perspective and razor-sharp wit. Born and raised in North Carolina, Alan’s early heroes were great Southern humorists such as Mark Twain and David Sedaris. Bold, opinionated comedians like Richard Pryor and Bill Hicks later drew him to stand-up comedy. Alan is a hard worker and dedicated comedian who performs almost every night. He constantly works on new material and rarely will perform the same set twice.
Alan graduated from Duke University with degrees in English and film. After moving to Los Angeles, he quickly became an in-house comedy writer at the prestigious Upright Citizens Brigade and iO West theaters. In addition to stand-up, Alan’s comedy resume includes improv, sketch, multimedia, videos, and producing live shows.
Alan continues to earn praise for his strong writing talent, and ability to connect with diverse audiences.
