I've been shooting seriously for about 20 years, the last 5 with digital, and now do some commercial work mainly advertising and product that goes hand in hand with my business.
The photography side is more of a release for me. I'm naturally quiet, but I enjoy working with people and find that on a one to one basis a different persona comes out of me.
I enjoy post processing just as much as getting the raw images themselves and I like to think when I press the shutter I have a good starting point or the “real image”.
I had my own studio in the middle of Derby - just a short hop from the rail and bus stations.
I'm wishing to expand my portfolio and hopefully show interesting portraiture and good location work.
To do this I’m offering TFP/TFCD work with people especially in my area who are looking to grow their folios as well. Though of course I will be looking to pay certain models who I wish to work with - especially those with their own creativeness and spark.
Current areas of interest:-
Gothic and alternative - Portraiture and Fashion (hired studio)
Mono and lowlight photography (hired studio)
High Key fashion/Retro
Location work - something urban and edgy.

Photography is something I undertake for pleasure and although I am not a professional, I like to think that my attitude towards photography is professional at all times.
I enjoy working with models to create beautiful images that we are both can be proud of, and am constantly looking for ways to improve and create images that spark the imagination. I provide an easy going and relaxed atmosphere, music of your choice, or mine if your late, trust me you don’t want to be late! Huge amounts of enthusiasm and energy to get the perfect shot and the right shots you are looking for, and above all try to make it fun. I am prepared to do TFP ……or TFCD…to capture "that image".
I am looking to do more of the alt, fetish, bondage, gothic, retro, pin-up style in the future, so if anyone in or passing through Derby or the surrounding area is interested drop me a line.
I have access to several Midlands studios, but am willing to shoot at any location as I have a small portable studio, so if you have a place of your own, cool, I also constantly scout for new and interesting places to shoot. I am open to any ideas you may have and will work with the model to achieve what they are looking for.
Interested in trying or adding different images to the portfolio? I am confident that my partner and myself can introduce them with care and patience, I am looking for a "different image " for a portfolio, with that in mind, why not give it a go! If it’s not your thing! Well I take "normal pictures" too!.......glamour, artistic nudes, lingerie, etc ......hopefully with a twist !
Chaperones can accompany models I have no problems with them coming along they prove great at making coffee etc...Or holding a reflector.However if you want to model or work on a closed set so be it.
Regardless of what limit you work to, or age you are my golden rule is The model's comfort and safety comes first.

I currently have a few lovely ladies wishing to work with me …. Be patient please …..As soon as I can get the diary out I will……..
My live-in girlfriend is also involved in photography (model) and she can be present at shoots just to reassure anybody coming to our home or studio. We also have a growing collection of props and clothes.
I always check model references before working with anyone. I don't have enough time for it to be wasted so I will only work with those models that are serious about not letting anyone down.I am happy to work with accompanied under 18's. I will always have the relevant forms signed and completed beforehand.
