Letting all know that another event has been added to my schedule in the Antique Village this weekend. Several local authors have been asked to do a 30 minute reading from their book at the restored City Hall on Mattie St. just around the corner from the Antique Village, followed by a private signing for the guests. I have been given the time slot of 5:15 ~ 6:00.

This pic was shot by talented photographer, Eyel Landesman from Isreal in the same forest, a quarter of a mile away from where we shot the Black Velvet video. Due to contractual obligations it's never been released for pubic sale. We've received such incredibly positive response to it we may consider marketing possibilities for future. Just after posting it, I was hired as an actor to sing Black Velvet for its first licensed film soundtrack in 20 years to be released April 2010 entitled "Angel Camouflaged"; a Michael Givens film starring the velvet voiced American Idol runner up Dilana, hot veteran actor James Brolin as on screen Lover Of Mine and The Marshall Tucker Band. The role needed to be filled in the 11th hour with Joan Jett pulling out due to scheduling. Spooky how the Universe aligns us at times. There seems to be a reason for every single occurrence on earth...

There is currently a search for two types of bands for record label consideration.
*** Note: PLEASE IDENTIFY IF YOU ARE IN GROUP 1 OR 2 IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF YOUR RESPONSE. Emails are being reviewed by different representatives.
1. A Pop/Rock/Commercial band with female lead. Band must consist of 2 guitars (Prefer both guitar players to be of lead caliber. However, one lead and one rhythm is acceptable), keyboard/piano, bass, and drums. Lead vocal, followed by backing vocals, in that order, is a plus as it relates to other members of the group. Average age of the band cannot exceed 28 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
2. A Modern Rock band with male lead. Must be a complete band but there are no prerequisites as it relates to the make up of the band. Average age of the band cannot exceed 23 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
