About me: ALAN ROWE KELLY is a director, writer & genre star of independent horror movies. His production company, SouthPaw Pictures, is based in Paterson, NJ.
His debut film I'LL BURY YOU TOMORROW (2002) won numerous awards at film festivals worldwide, most notably the 2002 Telluride Indiefest, 2003 Key West Indiefest, and 2002 New York Independent Film and Video Festival. His second film, THE BLOOD SHED (2007), won BEST FEATURE at the 2007 Dark Carnival Film Fest and BEST PROSTHETICS at the 2007 Fear In New Orleans Film Festival. Both films have been released nationally through Heretic Films and available thru Netflix, Amazon, Best Buy and many other retail venues.
Kelly has just completed filming the horror anthology GALLERY OF FEAR - which will be available in 2009. He wrote and directed three of the anthology tales, CRITIC'S CHOICE, A FAR CRY FROM HOME and DOWN THE DRAIN, and also served as Executive Co-Producer and Art Director on the third story, Anthony G. Sumner's film adaptation of Douglas Smith's chilling BY HER HAND, SHE DRAWS YOU DOWN.
A FAR CRY FROM HOME, a controversial tale of hate, murder and homophobia, was officially selected to screen at the 2008 DARK CARNIVAL FILM FESTIVAL and is currently making the rounds at various film festivals .
Kelly is also having the best time appearing in over 20 films such such as Anthony G. Sumner's W.O.R.M., Joe Sullivan's DEAD SERIOUS (Screening on the LOGO CHANNEL), Cameron Romero's THE SCREENING, Bart Mastronardi's VINDICATION, Michael Todd Schneider's OPENING THE MIND, Joshua Nelson's SKINNED ALIVE! and PINK EYE, Stolis Hadjicharalambous' CROSSED, Tate Steinsiek's DEVOURED, James Felix McKenney's SATAN HATES YOU, and Peter Jacelone's SCULPTURE.
Alan Rowe is in pre-production for the NY sequences of Joe Davison's apocalyptic thriller EXPERIMENT 7, and is gearing up for a retelling of S.F. Brownrigg's classic 1973 drive-in shocker DON'T LOOK IN THE BASEMENT! which begins filming in 2009 in Southern Indiana, followed the Colossus Productions of STRONGER THAN DEATH. He has completed scripts for AMBER ALERT! (filming in early 2009 as part of the SLICES OF LIFE anthology), SPORE!, A MURDER OF CROWS, YOU BETTER WATCH OUT!, HELL'S BELLES, UNHALLOWED GROUND, and an update of the 1948 Edna Sherry suspense novella SUDDEN FEAR (which became a classic 1952 Joan Crawford film noir thriller) for the screen in which he will play a famous playwright marked for murder.
Alan Rowe had the great honor of appearing in the 2009 HOT HUNKS OF HORROR Calendar for Breast Cancer Research and THE BLOOD SHED made the cover of WEIRD NJ’S 2008 Calendar.

Thank you for the accepting of my friend request. My sister Sojourner from Indiana, has said some wonderful things about you along with others and it is a pleasure to be among your network.
Very cool new 'Experiment 7' Pics. Hope that all is well with you. Looking very busy. Would love to be a part of a Alan Rowe Kelly project in the near future. Keep me in mind, and keep me posted on all the upcoming projects. Take care.
It's the very first episode of INTEGALACTIC and it's the first thing me and Morgan have ever acted in. It's a work in progress. I learn as I go. It's a great start though. We had a lot of fun and will be putting more stuff out soon. Maybe next time we'll have a script.
I fucking find it HILARIOUS!!!! I'm so proud of how bad it sucks. I hate introductions... I can't just start killing people. Maybe next time... maybe next time.
Enjoy... we'll be back.
I love love LOVED making this.
It's in two parts because YouTube only allows you to upload 10 minutes at a time... we're working out the small stuff...
THIS IS PART TWO! Part one is in my blogs and can be found on YouTube. It's a little too disturbing for myspace...
It's related to, but nothing like this second part.
Zombies – child’s play; Killer robots – a piece of cake; Aliens – lock and load, baby. It’s time to rock and roll...
