I am a consultant for marine, sail and motor yacht, communications (voice, fax, Internet) via cellular, wifi, satellite and other methods that become available. I do Internet Access Systems, onboard Networks, and general Communications and Computer consulting. This can include stuff such as Navigation Software, and other systems connected to the computer (AIS - Automatic Identification System, NMEA Data such as GPS - Global Positioning System and Radar Data.) I also am knowledgeable about Radio and GMDSS - Global Maritime Distress and Safety System. And in fact am working with a GMDSS Simulator Company with a Personal and Captain School Training Simulator Software. Want to learn how those new fancy DSC buttons work on your VHF of SSB Radio?
I work on land and on sea (yachts.) So I put on my other hat for Home and Small to Medium Business consulting.

Hey Alan! Thanks so much for the comment -- AND the mention on your blog. Everyone at The Boaters TV really appreciates it, and I was super flattered! Can't thank you enough.
It was great to discover you on here. I came across your blog months ago, and it was one of the first I added to our TBTV blog roll when we launched. Great information. We're overdue on covering telecom scoop for boaters on the show. If you have any cool story ideas, please let me know. We'd love to help promote your sites, too!
All my best, and I hope to meet you in person one day (neighbor!),
