Steinberg Certified Teacher & Digidesign Protools HD Certified Operator in Music, Federico Simonazzi is the owner of Alar’s Recording Studio.

Federico works as a Product Specialist in ESOUND (EKO MUSIC GROUP S.P.A., one of the biggest Musical Instruments & DJ equipment distributor in Italy) and is responsible for Italian technical support for the brands NUMARK, KORG DJ, AKAIPRO, TONIUM PACEMAKER, ORTOFON, PHONIC, UDG, ENERGY & ROADREADY CASES. From March 2008, he is also taking care about KORG software plug-in and MIDI Controller for the Italian distributor EKOMUSICGROUP.

Since 2004 Federico is involved on Beta Testing of some products by Numark, AKAIPRO, Phonic (computer music) and KorgDJ (Zero Mixer & Nano Series Beta tester).

He works as consultant for dance producers, radios, DJs and musical instrument shops.

Thanks to the song Trouble produced by his student DJ Spy, the Alar's voice was played around the world by DJs and published in several worldwide compilations.

Always updated on news in the music technology world, thanks to the participation in national and international fairs, seminars, and events, Federico is always cultivating his audio culture.

He took the Digidesign Certification at AGI Intl in Santa Monica, California, under the guide of Jose Chilitos Valenzuela. During the class he met Roger Nichols (Mix and Mastering seminar) and Robert “Bob” Fernandez (Recording and Surround mixing for movies seminar).

Since 1999, Federico has written many reviews, columns, news, and articles on music equipment related to sound and music manipulation and production for print, as well as electronic press sources specializing in music technology. He has worked for 7 years as a columnist for “Make your Groove” for the international dance magazine DiscoID. Federico has worked with the Italian magazines Fare Musica, Music Link, and Music File Magazines for which he has written articles and helped to create CD-ROM attachments. From 2000 to 2002, Federico was the editor-in-chief of the Hi-tech section on thedanceweb.com. He wrote technical articles for the portal technodisco.it. Now Federico is involved in the new DJM Pocket Magazine and Trend.

Federico has a collection of technical texts related to audio, acoustic, psychoacoustic, musical production, and microphone techniques, available to all his students.

Active as a Computer Music and DJing teacher, he has a lot to bring to classrooms around Italy. Federico has developed with Alars Recording Studio a breadth of audio and musical services with the help of his network of collaborators (musicians, singers, and speakers).

Lavora come consulente per produttori, radio, DJ e negozi di strumenti musicali. Grazie al brano “Trouble” prodotto dall’allievo DJ SPY, la voce di Alar è stata suonata e pubblicata su vinile e numerose compilation in tutto il mondo.  Costantemente aggiornato sulle novità del mondo tecnologico/musicale, grazie alla partecipazione alle più importanti manifestazioni internazionali del settore, Federico coltiva costantemente la sua cultura in campo audio. Ottiene la certificazione Digidesign “Pro Tools HD Operator in Music” c/o l’AGI Intl in Santa Monica, California, USA guidato dal guru internazionale di ProTools Jose Chilitos Valenzuela Durante le lezioni ha l’occasione di conoscere il grande Roger Nichols, il quale ha tenuto un seminario di Mix e Mastering, e Robert “Bob” Fernandez (Recording and Surround mixing for movies seminar). Dal 1999 Federico ha scritto numerose rubriche e articoli tecnici per la stampa cartacea e on-line specializzata in tecnologie applicate alla musica. Per 7 anni redattore della rubrica “Make your Groove” per il magazine internazionale DiscoID, Federico ha inoltre scritto per le riviste: Fare Musica, Music Link e Music File Magazine, Trend, DJM Pocket. Dal 2000 al 2002 copre il ruolo di caporedattore per la sezione “Hi-Tech” di thedanceweb.com. Attivo come insegnante di Computer Music & DJing tiene vari corsi e seminari in giro per l’Italia. Con l’Alars Recording Studio, Federico ha sviluppato una struttura di servizi a 360° nell’ambito audio e musicale attiva sia nel B2B, sia verso l’utenza finale, grazie anche ad una rete di collaboratori turnisti. Nel 2009, il sito ALARMUSIC.COM festeggerà il 10° anno di attività on-line, con una media giornaliera che nel secondo semestre del 2008 è pari ad oltre 950 singoli visitatori al giorno (dato al singolo indirizzo IP che accede al sito nelle 24 ore).
