Alaska Blue is a burlesque performer based in London. She appears regularly at venues around the city, including Bethnal Green Working Men's Club (Oh my god!I miss you nights - Grind a Go-Go, The Birthday Party - Cream Revue, Worker's Playtime, Juke Joint), Volupte (Love on the Rox, Afternoon Tease, Ivy Paige's Scandalous!), Barden's Boudoir, Proud Gallery, Soho Revue Bar, Punk, Battersea Arts Centre (Red Death Lates), and Shunt.

Alaska is available for private parties and corporate events, as a host as well as a solo performer.

- Alaska Blue's Burlesque Balloon Bingo! - inspired by Timberlina, bingo hostess with the mostess at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern, Alaska has created a bingo balloon dance. Everyone gets a blue bingo ticket and dabber. Cross out the numbers as she bursts her balls, calls out the numbers and forces unsuspecting audience members to act out the rhymes with her. Someone will win an exciting prize at the end!

- Fruit Salad! Electro party salsa burlesque to Gameboy/gamegirl's Fruit Salad. Feast on Alaska's apples and peaches and admire the size of her banana. Dessert will be served to a lucky few. (How you like them peaches? How you like them peaches, bitch?) - The birthday party - to Ooh La La by Goldfrapp. Alaska gets three beautiful bird hats for her birthday, but they don't seem to match her outfit...

- Pretty in Pink - 50s/ 80s sptriptease to Perfect by Playground Attraction. Alaska's date is about to turn up, but what should she wear to the prom?

- Too Darn Hot - Classic 40s comic striptease with added water. Alaska finds it hard to cool down on a hot summer's day

- Return to Sender - Comic, slightly evil 60s act. It's Valentine's Day, but Alaska hasn't had a card from her boyfriend, and he's not answering the phone. What does she do? Send him naked photos of herself, of course... - Little Red Rooster - Comic 1960s fan dance/ striptease. Alaska comes over all chicken when she hears the Rolling Stones... - The bakesale striptease (with Miss Lala Lovette) - Alaska and Lala compete over whose cakes are the biggest.

- The Birds and the Bees (with Lucy Luck and Little Boy Blue) - a bird and a bee give a young boy a sex education lesson he'll never forget.

- Sisters Sisters (with Lucy Luck) - Alaska and Lucy compete for the affections of Earnest - who turns out to be gay (based on the Importance of Being Earnest).

Alaska Blue was born in a gutter in Coney Island at some point in the early 70s. Her mother didn't survive the birth, and she was 'cared' for by her father until he was imprisoned for homicide when Alaska was 13 years old. Alaska returned to the gutter, foraging for food until one day a man said he'd buy her a chilli dog if she'd take her clothes off. She never looked back.

In the 1980s Alaska's shocking pink poodle perm caught the eye of a certain brat pack actor, who plied Alaska with illegal substances and whisked her off to London. When she staggered out of a hotel the next morning, she was dazzled by the bright lights of Soho and knew she'd never go back. She shaved 10 years off her age, took elocution lessons, and launched herself on the London burlesque scene.

As well as performing in surreal burlesque acts around the city, Alaska now makes hats and headpieces to order. She specialises in making it look like a bird has landed on your head, but if you tell her what you want on your hat (feathers, flowers, rats, bats, cakes, butterflies, teacups etc etc), she'll find a way of putting it there.
