originally formed in london in '93, alaska highway is the main realization of moose - adding to his experiments in electronic music with the influences of the early pioneering artists from the synthetic world.
the project took on a different shape after a move to los angeles in early 2001, with the addition of anthony, who is a native of the west coast areas that have been a heavy influence on his writing styles. a strong collaborative work between the two flourished in the summer of 2003 and have intertwined both light and dark electronica with the more classic style of song composition.
with a personnel change in early 2007 seeing anthony spreading his wings to form 'monastic', and moose dedicating more of his time to 'among the weeds', alaskahighway's second album was shelved, with no release date in mind.
but early 2009 saw the release of this long-anticipated album - 'closure'... see www.alaskahighway.com

everyone who has heard the debut album, 'attitudes of a difficult mind', agree that alaska highway can not be categorized in to any one genre, as the music goes from one extreme to another, finding a balance in between, is often unsettling, but totally intriguing. this is cemented by album 2, with classic sounding alaska highway tracks followed by radical remixes...
moose continues to work on the 'among the weeds' live shows & debut album 'frail tin beauty' with anthony working on 'monastic'.
also featured on many compilations and movie soundtracks.
