I've read a lot when I was on boats. Mostly historically significant books: The Ka, Egyptian Book of the Dead, The Nah Hamadi scrolls, Chirchill's volumes on WWII, Tom Robins, Kert Vonigut, Ken Kesey, Hemingway, Plato, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintainance was one of my favorites, read it twice.Heroes

About me:
I'm a biologist. I like to travel and have done a lot of different kind of stuff. I scuba dive, have riden from California to Key West on a motorcycle (solo, no group needed), broke horses (now am not fond of them actually), spent 7 years on the Bering Sea as a biologist (yah I know more than a couple of the guys from Deadliest Catch), I live in Alaska and don't ever want to go back to the 48 (too many people and traffic), I ice climb occationaly, downhill ski (I'm a purist, none of that sitting in front of a lift or scraping snow like boarder), good with my hands, and don't like foo foo drinks, beer, whiskey, or gin, no fruit needed.Who I'd like to meet:
