Formed by founder members Michael and Kevin albapatera began with a view to writting original and thought provoking songs.
With Sean on bass and Burns on second guitar albapatera started gigging full time from 2006.
All four members hail from the Ballymena area in Northen Ireland and draw on a wide range of musical interests to produce the original albapatera style. Influences include The Beatles, Jeff Buckley, Elbow, Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin, Neil Young, Stone Roses to name but a few.
