I have been playing drums for over 20 years in a variety of musical settings. Styles include Rock, Christian, Country, Cajun, Zydeco, Blues, R & B, and Latin. I studied with Houston drummers Mike Lefarve and Craig LeMay early on and later studied master classes with many great professional drummers including Ed Shaughnessy( Johnny Carson Show), Bobby Rock (Rare Earth, Vinnie Vincent Invasion, Nelson), Matt Sorum(Guns N Roses), Gregg Bissonette (David Lee Roth), Anton Fig(David Letterman Show), Dave Weckl(Chick Corea), and countless others.
Currently, I am playing with Steve Bing & The Bayou HotShots (Acadiana Records Artist-Nominated by Cajun French Music Association for possible 2009 Best New CD award, so please VOTE! Listed as a possible nominee for the 2008 50th Grammy Awards under Cajun/Zydeco category), I also play with James Thibodeaux and Pure Cajun Band on occasion.

My style has always been one of expand and create and I do not rely heavily on sounding like someone else. My specialty is making music happen on the fly with feeling.

A lot has changed since then. Hey Albert, hows the cajun band going, been having lots of gigs, I bet it's getting hot to lug those drums around, especially back and forth to Louisiana...hehe...things are good for me, stuggling to get past this last section of the CPA, but other than that it's going good.
