Alberto Dati started his activity betewen Taranto and Florence (Italy). He was at first interested in ambient/experimental sounds, but then he got involved in music production, signing with Minus Habens Records and Totalwipes Productions.
He's the man behind acts like Elastic Society, Dati, Appetizer, Synthax Error.
He's now also producing third parties albums and singles. His tracks are on several international compilations, cd-albums and singles, distributed all over Europe and USA. His tracks are in three italian top-selling movies, "Mio Cognato" by A. Piva, "L'Amore Ritorna" by Sergio Rubini and "Ho voglia di te" di Luis Prieto.
He's now working on his projects, with several artists around the world. He alterns the producer activity with the deejaying. As a dj, Alberto plays techno, breakbeat, drumandbass.
He also works as A&R for Faders United Records, the urban sublabel of Totalwipes Productions.
Alberto Dati ha iniziato la sua attività tra Taranto e Firenze. Se per i primi tempi si è dedicato soprattutto a suoni ambientali per installazioni e sonorizzazioni, col passare del tempo i suoi interessi si sono allargati con i contratti firmati con Minus Habens Records e Totalwipes Productions.
E' lui che ha realizzato diversi progetti sotto differenti nomi: Elastic Society, Dati, Appetizer, Synthax Error. In questo momento Alberto sta anche producendo album e singoli per clienti terzi.
I suoi brani sono stati inseriti in svariati singoli, album cd o compilation (Italia, Francia, Germania, USA, Giamaica). Le sue tracce sono anche in tre film italiani di successo, "Mio Cognato" di A. Piva, "L'amore ritorna" di Sergio Rubini e "Ho voglia di te" di Luis Prieto.
Dati sta ora lavorando ai suoi progetti futuri, con molti artisti di tutto il mondo.

Review: "Don Goliath's "Bagstep EP" (DDR030) is one of those innovative EPs showcasing how versatile Dubstep can get. The unique idea of creating Dubstep versions of celctic (Irish as well as Scottish) folk classics for all you drunkards longing to sing along was Don Goliath's motto when producing this madness. The concept is as simple as effective: he picked 4 of your grandpa's favourites such as "Old Skibbereen", "Scotland the Brave", "Drunken Sailor" and "Amazing Grace" having the melody played by a definitly non-sober Bagpipe section and then layering it with lofi mid range wobbleism - we therefor call it Bagstep. Overall production quality is high grade with that intense sub focus so you can blow-dry your hair right in front of the bass bins. Now let's get into the tunes: "Skibbereen Bagstep" is one of the melancolic minor tunes expressing Irish history as it is. It is an unmixable 3/4 waltz beat at unusual 154bpm, well dancebal though when one moves to the triplets. "Bagstep the brave" should be one of the sickest rebuilds of the Scottish national anthem making it Mel Gibson's signature tune if he had one. "Drunken Bagstep" is a Glitchfest version of the sailors anthem capable of getting you uberdrunk by listening alone, Arrrr! "Amazing Bagstep" is as religious as it gets making it a tune that'll certainly safe xamounts of lost souls. Enjoying the dancefloor got even easier now: drink out the bar, make your skirt fly and sing along to these (future) classics! Some will hate this release and some will love it, there barely is anything in between. All Dubstep Division crew salutes the latter as our fellow beerheadz! cheeeeeerz!"
