"The Quartet"
The Albert Rivera Quartet has been 8 years in the making. Based in New York City, he is joined by the newest faces in jazz. He is committed in bringing new sounds to the public, keeping in mind where the music came from. Heavily based on John Coltrane's modal aspect, Albert writes most of the entire Quartets music, using grooves and rhythm as his base. Albert attended New School University Jazz program, as well as drummer John Iannuzzi, Luques attended from Berklee College of music, and Zaccai attended from New England Conservatory
