About me: Do you find yourself doodling, cutting, pasting, sprinkling glitter on things, and enjoying the hell out of it? Do you ever think (while participating in the aforementioned happiness) "this would be so much more fun if I had people to kick it with and inspire my creative juices"?
if so, Albukrafty is for you.
What is Albukrafty, you ask?
A bi-monthly gathering of krafty folks, feeding off one another's creative energy, sharing supplies and funny stories while making some kickass arts & crafts (i had to spell it right at least once...). It will be happening on Sunday afternoons, and who doesn't like guaranteed fun?
Most importantly, it's whatever you want it to be! You create the vibe, the fun, and if wanted, the food!
Who I'd like to meet: Every Krafty McKrafterson in burque, so that we can all get involved in creating a krafty community!
I'm needing venues for the gatherings, preferably places with lots of open space, tables and chairs. Homes will definitely work, but remember, krafting gets messy, and you have to be comfortable with letting strangers create art in your living space.

this is awesome. i go to OffCenter a lot, it's a community art space where you can use their stuff for free and they hold awesome workshops (i just took the Intro to Screen Printing, it's my new obsession). anyone want to get together and get krafty?! let me know! i'll be there this friday for sure (somewhere in between 1-4) trying to screen print shirts.
