IndieAtlas.com is a directory intended to expose brilliant, little known artists to a wider audience. This site was created out of a genuine love and respect for legitimate and progressive music, and we are dedicated to bringing you all the latest news on established and fledgling independent artists. 12 billion ears is a terrible thing to waste!
There is an utterly insourmountable mountain of incredible music, both independent and mainstream, on this planet. Most are content with the excrement thrown them by MTV (empty-V, if you prefer) in most cases, simply because of plain ingorance. It is with this belief that we endeavor to give the experience of discovery to all those who happen upon our page. And please, don’t by any means think we have all the answers. We haven’t even scratched the surface! This is illustrated in a simple but telling quote from John Lennon during a Rolling Stone interview in which he said “… Our best work was never recorded.”
