We're a cover band, plain and simple. We all have other bands, but like to get out and play the cover songs we love, and you'll love them too!
Who is Alchemist? We are the epitome of rock, man, and if you don't believe us, well come see for yourself! Blending mainstream and popular cover music with shit you'll absolutely Rock out to--head bobbing and all---- we define rock as it should be defined.
Come to the shows and we'll tickle your musical fancy, kinda like a fucked up carousel for dizzy chickens. Or you'll get drunk and not remember. Either way, we will rock you, as some people love us, some people just get sucked away into a deep abyss---which is really weird to see live--and some think we're pretty okay. You'll see!
We are in our 2nd year as a band-- and have already stepped up to the plate and put "live" time in. We played 32 shows in the Des Moines area in 2008 and are still going strong! We are starting to get each other---which can only mean that original material is just around the corner people --- be patient--for this is the evolution of a band---and we shall stand upright in time!!!
Soooooo........stick with us---we love playing for you --- we are a great time--and we share ourselves as if you were in the family all along!!!
