ALCOHSONIC

Formed in 2005, Alcohsonic presents a certain idealism of rock. blending 70s rock, blues with Southern roots and a modern sound that is often called 'Stoner' rock.

Inspired by big names from the past. such as Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Grand Funk Railroad.... and with more modern influences, (Clutch, Monster Magnet, Five Horse Johnson, Spiritual Beggars), the combo enrich their style with a little 'blue note' and well-worked lyrics and invest themselves to a maximum in what they love - the stage.

After having published their first Album 'Songs From The Delirium Tremens World' in 2009, the band went on to present it in many countries, playing alongside Brant Bjork, Cactus, American Dog, Electric Mary, Jaded Sun, Mudweiser etc...
The band then brought out an exceptional vinyl called 'Dark Side Of Blues' that appeared on several compilations (Riot on Sunset in the USA and Psychotic Reactions in Europe).

The Parisian formation is currently in the studio recording their second album which they will then present live on stage.




Formé en 2005, Alcohsonic défend une certaine idée du rock, mêlant hard rock 70’s, blues, racines sudistes et sonorités plus modernes que l’on nomme souvent stoner.

Inspiré par les grands noms d’un autre temps (Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Grand Funk Railroad…) comme par des formations plus récentes de stoner (Clutch, Monster Magnet, Five Horse Johnson, Spiritual Beggars…), le combo enrichi son propos de quelques « blue note » et textes travaillés afin d’investir au maximum son terrain favori : La scène.

Après avoir publié son premier opus « Songs From The Delirium Tremens World » en 2009, le groupe est parti le défendre dans plusieurs pays, jouant aux cotés de Brant Bjork, Cactus, American Dog, Electric Mary, Jaded Sun, Mudweiser etc…
Le groupe a, par la suite, sorti un Vinyl de l’inédit « Dark Side Of Blues » qui apparaîtra sur plusieurs compilations ( «Riot on Sunset» aux USA et «Psychotic Reactions» en Europe).

La formation parisienne est actuellement en studio et prépare son second opus qu’ils iront défendre aussitôt en live.
