Evocative and impassioned, mischievous and sultry, Nichole ALDEN is on a perpetual quest for her next musical exploration. Upon release of her self-produced debut effort, Under the Skin, ALDEN put together a 5-piece band and quickly made herself a fixture in Los Angeles’ highly competitive live music scene. After a few years of extensive live presence, she found herself back in the studio writing custom tracks for film including Sony Pictures’ top-grossing horror film “The Fog” and opening credit song for Ariel Vromen’s independent film “Rx: Simple Lies.” ALDEN’s music has been featured in advertising campaigns for Audi, Peugeot, and Harley Davidson airing throughout Europe, South America, Australia, and Asia, and was selected as the opening track on Warner Music Taiwan’s recent compilation of commercial hits alongside Damien Rice, James Blunt, and others. Music from ALDEN’s catalog can currently be heard in television promos for Australian drama Neighbours and the hit series Dexter. ALDEN released her Lost Into Experience EP in the spring of 2009. She is currently in the studio writing and recording more original material she describes as “something between Nina Simone and Trent Reznor.” Currently working with a handful of talented producers, she continues to build her song catalog while actively pursuing additional licensing opportunities.
