Performing on small stages in random towns to premier venues and festivals in major U.S. cities, the music is their priority. Alder Dice’s compositions are representative of their individual and distinct musical journeys, across national and international stages. Now, as a trio they are empowered to reveal their experiences with all who embrace passion, dedication, and energy-filled live instrumentation, including the trading of their instruments on stage throughout their performances.
Their playing styles intrigue all, in hope to prevent alienation from listeners of any genre; classical to electronic. The trio will often play acoustic shows focusing on their jazz material while their versatility lies in playing their next show at a club, laying down heavy electronic grooves to get the place moving.
Live, they work with each other to create complex overtones, vocal harmonies, and poly-rhythmic musical movements. Dan, Pete, and Cooke exchange ideas and instruments, building a ritual performance space designed to excite.
