  • Bio

.. .......... .. .. .. An Italian "Jersey boy" who was raised on too much Catholic school. He explains; " I lost my soul-mate to a terrible accident... I let a 'cock'-roach into my home (out of the goodness of my catholic school heart) and it proceeded to convince my soul-mate that it was a prince. For his first act of chivalry he took her to the roach motel. I'm not sure where they ended up after that. I now have a new soul-mate... Lucky for me God is a patient man and was willing to send me another one. I grew up a great deal from that experience." Ok- fast forward many years to the music stuff: Al recently licensed four of his songs for the hugely popular RockBand video game, as well as placing "Where The Money Goes" with Cupit Records artist Dave Russell. (due for release this spring)... Bobby Cash's recording of Al's song, 'Train, Train', was a top 20 hit in Australia. His songs have also been featured on The Doctor Demento Show, reached radio audiences in the millions on WSM (home of the Grand Ole' Opry) and have been performed around the globe by recording artists and co-writers like 2008 Kerrville winner CJ Watson. Al has performed on the Opry Star Spotlight, and has had songs regularly featured on the show. He currently writes for Shadow Mountain Music Group and in his 'spare time', he's is a professional song critic for The Nashville Songwriters Association International. He also founded Tunesmith.net- one of the most visited songwriting sites on the internet.
