Born and raised in Laguna Beach, but nothing like the MTV show, Alec Bridges is a spiritually inspired singer-songwriter. Fueled by Yoga and Vipassana Meditation, Alec created and released his debut album, Look Inside, in 2006. Shortly after its release, it was awarded the Best Triple A (Adult Alternative Americana) Album of the Year in the 16th Annual Los Angeles Music Awards.
In 2008, he began work on a follow up record, but decided to put the album on hold to work on a live DVD with SongCheck Live. The single - "Move" - was released from the scrapped studio session and can be purchased on iTunes, wherever else digital music is sold.
Alec is currently working on the live DVD with SongCheck Live. It is set to be released in early 2009.
