Aleix was born in Majorca in 1982, and is currently living in Barcelona. He started playing in 1999 but he didn’t start playing professionally until 2003.
He quickly found the style of music that defined his identity as a DJ, a mix of tech house fused with hard techno beats. Although he plays the newest and underground techno he always adds his own personal and characteristic touch which makes him unique. More recently, he is involved in searching new rhythms and sounds, trying different styles such as minimal house, electro or acid house.
The ability to synchronize with the atmosphere and the wide range of music that offers the artist, has taken him to share with figures as DJ Rolando, Trevor Rockliffe, Dave Tarrida, Guy McAffer, Electroliving, Elesbaan or J Rob. He also played with less recognized but not unimportant DJ..s such as Nuria Ghia, Eclec Sonde, Pete M, LM del Pino, Sweeterbeat, Iván Escura, Ernie, F-On, Deck Larsson, Steve Johanson, Oscar Barila, Citric, Putilatex, Glen & Glenda, Nival, Pol Godet, Underblau, Cybersonic, Héctor Herrera, Jesús Durán, Pablo G, Elek-Fun... among others.
Aleix made his professional debut in summer 2003, at the prestigious Palm Beach Club. Following his debut he signed up with the Catalan Association Sanae Group, in addition to other artists such as Sergio Patricio, Nuria Ghia, J Rob, Sergio Parrado and the group Lethargy. He continued to work with these artists until the end of 2003.
March 2004 saw his performance at the mythic Soma Experimental Club in Madrid. This prompted the agency Cosmic Movement to approach him. Cosmic Movement are associated with numerous national and international artists such as Pelacha, Dave Tarrida, Elesbaan, Funk D..Void, Sweeterbeat, Slam, Xpansul, Recyber Dogs and Ernie.
Up until summer 2004, Aleix had also been working in Heat Records in Barcelona, with Alex Brinken (Tactic, BCN Records). The pair of them started work on producing a series of deep techno themes.
Aleix also had a close relationship with producer and Catalan DJ, Elek-Fun. They worked together on many sessions and projects, and eventually collaborated to create a series of special sets under the "Alike DJs" name.
Midway through 2006, Aleix became less involved in DJ-ing himself, in order to concentrate more on producing the weekly Shock! Sessions.
At present, Aleix has dedicated a lot of time to working on new material in his studio.
He is also involved, together with fellow DJ and friend Jesús Durán, in managing residents and programmes for Shock! Sessions in Barcelona.

Aleix also been involved in numerous events and festivals. For example, Jim Beam DJ..s Awards, the 2nd Soundtrack Tour, and the Festival de Cine de Sitges 2003.

Este dj mallorquin nacido el 1982 y afincado en Barcelona, empezó a pinchar en 1999, pero no fué hasta el 2003 cuando empezó su trayectoria como profesional. El verano del 2003, momento en el que debuta profesionalmente en la prestigiosa sala Palm Beach Club, es fichado por el colectivo catalán "Sanae Group" junto con otros artistas como Sergio Patricio, Nuria Ghia, J Rob, Sergio Parrado o el grupo Lethargy. A finales del 2003 se disuelve este colectivo, y tras unos meses, en marzo del 2004, después de su actuación en el mítico Soma Experimental Club de Madrid, pasa a formar parte de la agencia madrileña "Cosmic Movement", con multitud de artistas nacionales e internacionales como Pelacha, Dave Tarrida, Elesbaan, Funk D..Void, Sweeterbeat, Slam, Xpansul, Recyber Dogs o Ernie.
Hasta el verano del 2004, compagina el trabajo en la tienda para DJ..s Heat Records en Barcelona, al mismo tiempo que empieza su faceta como productor junto a Alex Brinken (Tactic, BCN Records), llegando a producir una serie de temas deep techno. También mantuvo una estrecha relación profesional con el productor y DJ catalán Elek-Fun, con el que compartió durante ese año multitud de sesiones, e incluso llegaron a realizar unos sets muy especiales a cuatro platos bajo el nombre "Alike DJs". A día de hoy sigue experimentando por si solo en su estudio a la vez que lleva la residencia y la programación de las sesiones "Shock!" en Barcelona conjuntamente con el DJ y amigo Jesús Durán. A mediados del 2006, frena un poco su actividad como DJ, dedicándose casi exclusivamente en las sesiones semanales Shock!, para así poder dedicarle más tiempo a la faceta de producción.

I thought you might like to know that I have posted a couple of new fusion mixes you may well like. Our latest is a killer mix featuring Coldplay and Jennifer Lopez called You Do Clocks Well. We paid a consultant millions to come up with that ingenious title! Millions of salt granules. We cutt up, bash up and smashing around the likes of Coldplay, Kraftwerk, Leona Lewis, Rhianna, Pixies, Gallows and Muse. New up is a mix featuring New Order and Jeff Buckley and Coldplay and Les Rythmes Digitales. I have also taken a bit of Leona Lewis, the new queen of R&B in our book and a bit of Gnarls Barkley, shaken it all up, stuck a bomb under it and boomshaka we have something to mess with your grey cells. I have given you a sneak preview below. Another than has gone up is a radical combo of Rihanna with a dollop of Peter, Bjorn and John. There are other fresh mixes featuring Coldplay and Kraftwerk.
