ALEKO merge the sound of the club with the sound of the sweaty underground venue, fusing pounding guitars and bass with scattergun drum machine rhythms and pulsating synth grooves. Recent shows include support to THE COOPER TEMPLE CLAUSE, THE RAPTURE, EROL ALKAN, DFA DJ's, THE SUNSHINE UNDERGROUND, MSTRKRFT and a mainstage appearance at last years HI-FI Festival. The band have also supported ASIAN DUB FOUNDATION on the Irish leg of their european tour. Having completed early studio demos with producer Marc Carolan (the thrills, muse, the cure) at the beginning of the year, they are now currently working on their debut EP with producer Gareth Mannix set for release in Summer 2007....
