Aleksander With conquered Norway in 2006 and is now ready to invade new terriotories. Funnily enough he grew up Heimdal south of Trondheim .. , Norway .. and the place is named after the god Heimdall .. in Norse mythology .. . The area has been continuously inhabited at least since the Iron Age .. , and is rich in archaeological sites .. . So maybe it is his viking ancestors that gives him the desire to travel the world.
Aleksander grew up surrounded with music. He used to sing in a choir, played guitar, drums and piano since he was a child. He has played in several bands, taken piano lessons and studied music as a student Heimdal Upper Secondary School.
His first single “A Little Too Perfect” sold double platinum in his native Norway. Now is the time for Aleksander to present his own music. The title of his debut “Coming Home” comes from his belief that he has finally come home to where he belongs and that is with his music.
”The Other Side” is the first single from his debut album. Adressaavisen has quoted “his vocals are truly amazing!” VG has also stated that “the chorus comes is absolutely fantastic and that Aleksander is off to a great career start.”
“I have truly enjoyed working with my own music.” He has also had the opportunity to work with several talented musicians, producers etc.
Aleksander has been a big part in every part of the album – lyrics, music, piano, organ and rhodes. “Coming Home” is produced by Geit Luedy (KarinPark, Jan Eggum), Hans Petter Aaserud (Robert Post, Heine Totland), Erlend Fauske and Eivind Buene and recorded live in the studio. The album was mastered by Geoff Pesche (Kylie Minogue, Coldplay, Spice Girls, William Orbit) in the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London.
The result is an elegant rock pop album that varies from slow romantic songs to rock. Aleksander shows strong and great voice along with his personal lyrics. “My lyrics are about all the different things I have experienced in the 20 years of my life which others can also relate to. I am just being true to who I am
