Ranked Top 10 on MySpace Three Years Straight for Independent Acoustic Artists out of Washington DC 2006-2008!
"Melodic voice with passion, unique style, and complexity on guitar," according to a 2005 write up by Kelli Gavant who caught Aleksis Bilmanis playing a show at Firehouse in Gaithersburg MD.
"Lively Acoustic Music!" according to On Tap Maganzine in 2007.
Born in the suburbs of DC to an accomplished local photographer and an internationally seasoned vocalist/pianist, Aleksis Bilmanis was primed for success as a singer/songwriter from the womb.
Insightful and uplifting, his music speaks volumes yet retains a playful and catchy quality that will keep you listening for hours. His songs possess a hypnotic and earthy intelligence; a homage to his Latvian heritage.
Years of performing lend a clear sophistication to the unique energy he creates at every show. Whether he is performing with a full band or is standing alone in his spotlight with his guitar, you will be moved; mind, body and soul.

Its pretty funny when you can buy a couple boxes of girlscout cookies for $3 and then later that night sell them to drunk patrons for $5 a box. We'll get in the studio faster than I thought we would! -Brandon
We just put up a NEW DESIGN and a NEW SONG and we would love for you to stop by and say hello! We hope all is well with you. Look around and let us know your thoughts!

We'll be back in DC in November. We'd love to have you out to the show!
Thank you for the add! If you enjoy the sounds of Dredg, Incubus, Radiohead, Coldplay, or Muse, please check out our myspace! Thanks again. -Kid Architect
Please make it a point to be at Sinix on Friday night November 13th to join up with Rebel Inc., King Belvedere, and The Hotwire Outlaws as they host a benefit concert
for Missy Samel. Missy, a long time friend of King Belvedere drummer
Johnny Sexx, is a single mom with type I diabetes and no health
insurance. The cost of treating her disease is slowly burying her under
a mountain of medical bills and a recent severe episode which included her being rushed by ambulance to a local emergency room has pushed her finances to the breaking point. The bands and the club are pulling out all the stops for this one including a silent auction table with gift bags and gift certificates from several local merchants as well as some rock and roll memorabelia from Enuff Z'Nuff, Guns N Roses, Hellyeah, and others. A ten dollar donation
gets you in (every penny of which goes to Missy). Hang on to your your ticket stub
as a raffle will also be held for an poster autographed by the members
of Hellyeah. There might even be some special guests in the audience -
nothing set in stone but you never know...
