Benvenuti nel Fans Club ufficiale di Alessandra Celletti.
Alessandra Celletti, romana, nasce in ambito prettamente classico, conseguendo il diploma in pianoforte al Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia e perfezionandosi, successivamente, con Vera Gobbi Belcredi. Il suo esordio discografico è del 1994 con il lavoro “Les sons et les parfums”, dedicato alle musiche di Debussy, Ravel e Satie. .
Nel 1997 esce il suo secondo lavoro “Viaggio a Praga” città dove si trasferisce per approfondire la conoscenza e l’interpretazione della musica pianistica, in particolare del compositore Leos Janacek.
Al suo ritorno in Italia, nel 1998, pubblica quattro album dedicati alle musiche di Gurdjieff/De Hartmann, Erik Satie, Scott Joplin e Philip Glass. Il suo cd “Esoterik Satie” è stato in classifica in Francia tra i cd più venduti di musica classica ed il regista Guy Ritchie ne utilizza un brano, “La Premier Gnossienne”, come colonna sonora del suo film “Revolver”.
Nel 2006 finalmente Alessandra Celletti dedica un album intero alle proprie composizioni; esce infatti "Chi mi darà le ali", un lavoro discografico del quale è autrice, interprete e produttrice.
Un anno dopo il suo esordio come autrice, nel novembre 2007 esce "The Golden Fly", sedici composizioni originali per piano.
Nello stesso anno avviene l'incontro tra Alessandra Celletti ed uno dei massimi esponenti della musica elettronica sperimentale contemporanea, Hans Joachim Roedelius che nella primavera del 2007, invita la pianista romana a suonare Erik Satie al Festival di Lunz. Dall'incontro nasce "Sustanza di cose sperata", progetto live di Celletti e Roedelius, che a maggio del 2009 diventa anche un album grazie all'interesse di un'etichetta indipendente nord americana, la Transparency, che decide di darlo alle stampe per il mercato mondiale.
Intanto già nel 2008 la prestigiosa etichetta inglese LTM, aveva pubblicato “Way Out”, 16 brani nei quali le sonorità del pianoforte, con naturalezza ed equilibrio, si fondono alla forza ritmica della batteria.
Arriviamo così a maggio del 2009, e in contemporanea con la pubblicazione di "Sustanza di cose sperata", la Transparency realizza anche un album dedicato a sei sonate di Baldassarre Galuppi, "Alessandra Celletti plays Baldassarre galuppi". Di Galuppi, autore veneto del settecento Alessandra ha scelto, dalla sua immensa produzione, sei Sonate originariamente composte per clavicembalo; nella sua interpretazione ha cercato di rispettare lo spirito dell’epoca in cui le Sonate sono state scritte attualizzandone l’approccio e la sensibilità.
Una musica lontana dalle etichette, difficilmente catalogabile nei cliché preesistenti, trasversalmente capace di passare da un genere all’altro riuscendo a fondere stili apparentemente inconciliabili: dalla musica classica al rock, dal pop al minimalismo passando per la musica sperimentale.
ULTIMI AGGIORNAMENTI
E' prevista la ristampa dell'album originariamente autoprodotto "Chi mi darà le ali", per il mercato americano ed europeo, sempre a cura di Transparency, che ad ottobre 2009 pubblicherà anche la versione tradotta in inglese del libro"Paraphernalia", dedicato ad Alessandra Celletti dal giornalista e critico musicale Max Marchini, con allegato un dvd di immagini raccolte nel corso di questi ultimi dieci anni di musica e storie.
Di prossima uscita "The red pages", un album di composizioni originali di Alessandra Celletti e Mark Tranmer, musicista inglese che con lo pseudonimo di GNAC e The Montgolfier Brothers ha all'attivo diversi album in UK.

Sesame Street Kicks-Off 40th Season on November 10th
Today, forty years to the day since its premiere broadcast, Sesame Street will kick-off its landmark 40th season on PBS. Big Bird, Oscar, Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Cookie Monster, the Count, Grover, Bert, Ernie, Snuffy, Telly, Rosita, Baby Bear, Zoe and the rest of the gang will return this season with a whole new set of adventures, lessons, songs, games and sketches. This season will concentrate on the needs of children with a special nature-focused curriculum, "My World is Green and Growing," designed to create a love and understanding of the natural world.
