Alessandro Del Vecchio, Italian rock keyboader and singer, is one of the top musicians you can find out there. His background has some of the highest names in the rock scene. Worldwide artists such as Morris Albert, Ian Paice, Glenn Hughes, Steve Walsh, Andre Matos, Bob Harris, Bobby Barth, Axe, Eden's Curse, Ken Hensley, James Christian, Robin Beck, Clive Bunker, Carmine Appice, Jeff Scott Soto, Clive Bunker, Time Machine, Scott McGuill, Igor Gianola, Marcel Jacob, Tony Franklin are just few names of the many that had Alessandro playing, singing both background and lead vocals, arranging and producing. He's known for his Hammond playing, his furious key solos and his high-tenor vocals.
With his band Edge Of Forever (www.myspace.com/edgeofforeverofficial) he's leading the hard rock scene in Italy being the first AOR act to get international record deals with labels such as MTM Music, Nippon Crown, Spiritual Beast, Wet Music. Edge Of Forever got in their pocket some high names in the world AOR scene: Bob Harris (Axe, Steve Vai, Frank Zappa), Bobby Barth (Blackfoot, Axe), Marcel Jacob (Talisman, Malmsteen) and Jeff Scott Soto (Journey, Malmsteen, Talisman, Soul Sirkus and rest of the world:-)). With Edge Of Forever Alessandro got excellent reviews all around the world and caught the attention of all AOR fans for his great musicianship and songwriting abilities.
In 2002 he became part of Time Machine, one of the best bands in Europe as for Prog Metal. During that year Time Machine performed some gigs with Andre Matos of Angra and Shaman fame on vocals, including an outstanding appareance at the Gods Of Metal Festival with Manowar, Blind Guardian, Running Wild, Symphony X, Virgin Steele and many others. He took part to "Time To Take A Stand", the first album of Moonstone Project, as a keyboarder for "City of lites" featuring Steve Walsh of Kansas on vocals and on "Silent Hunter" as lead and background singer, with Ian Paice and Tony Franklin. This project means more than a collaboration. Alessandro is part of the touring band of Matt Filippini's Moonstone Project and and this ledthe two to writing, arranging and producing the second MP chapter that sees again Mr. Ian Paice on drums together with Clive Bunker from Jethro Tull and some other very special guests like Glenn Hughes, Robin Beck, James Christian and Ken Hensley. Since May 2005 Moonstone Project is touring with Glenn Hughes, Ian Paice and other big shot names of rock'n'roll.
He also worked with italian acts like Planethard, Shining Line, Wine Spirit, My Land, Sigma, Dark Fire, Gianluca Ferro, Mantra, Gianluca Galli, Simone, Frank Caruso, Stefano Xotta aka Sebo, Loredana Bertè, Isa-Beau, Al Bano, ecc.
He has performed on more that 60 records and toured since 1999 as a pro musician.
He also works as a vocal instructor being a TVS ASSOCIATE TEACHER. He's known for being one of the italian top modern teachers as for rock, soul and metal. Le mie lezioni di canto sono indirizzate dal principiante al professionista rodato.
Chiunque desideri scoprire i segreti della voce, grazie alle tecniche di studio americane piu' musicali e usate nel mondo discografico e dei tour, puo' contattarmi e potra' eliminare ogni barriera mentale e fisica che impedisce alla propria voce di essere agile e naturale. Il mio concetto di canto e' assolutamente creato nella naturalita' del fisico, dell'anima e del cuore di ogni cantante. Essere naturali nel canto vuol dire evitare ogni minima chiusura nella propria voce e scoprire cosa vuol dire espandere il proprio range usando ogni registro innato in ogni essere umano. Basato principalmente sul metodo THE VOCALIST STUDIO™ di Robert Lunte, autorita' mondiale del canto moderno, il percorso attraversa 4 tematiche principali del canto moderno: la respirazione, la vibrazione, la risonanza e la visualizzazione. La ricerca della propria voce, quindi del proprio timbro naturale, la respirazione "bassa" vista come base e fondamento del canto, lo sviluppo di una connessione reale tra voce di petto e voce di testa, la conoscenza dei sovratoni e di una perfetta risonanza, lo studio della voce faringea, il concetto di groove, dinamica, suono e lo sviluppo dei modi vocali (falsetto, belting, twang) sono alcuni degli argomenti toccati. Nato come metodo di fusione tra canto classico e tradizione high-gospel, blues, soul, rock e musical-theatre ,che sono le fondamenta sonore del canto moderno, ha come obiettivo primario lo sviluppo di un canto il piu' naturale possibile, in modo da evitare tensioni muscolari, ossee e a livello del collo assolutamente inutili e dannose per il canto e per l'apparato fonatorio. Lo sviluppo del proprio range portera' ad una voce piena connessa con un'estensione di 4/5 ottave (nei casi di timbri whistle ben sviluppati) senza rotture (yodeling, tensione muscolare) sul passaggio di registro e senza spinte sgradevoli e dannose della voce di petto, scoprendo l'uso della voce faringea come reale voce piena e, quindi, come estensione della voce di petto, facendo guadagnare almeno un' ottava sulla propria estensione in risonanza di petto. L'allievo sara' seguito al pianoforte con esercizi studiati ed approfonditi sull'allievo stesso. L'uso di un impianto di amplificazione (P.A.) portera' l'allievo alla conoscenza degli armonici e dei sovratoni che si sviluppano con il canto microfonico, rendendo il proprio timbro sempre piu' ricco e largo.Per informazioni delvecchio.alessandro@gmail.com

Sono mesi che si parla di questo disco come una piccolo perla di aor e hardrock!!! Il lavoro svolto da Bruno Kaler alle voci e alle chitarre è letteralmente incredibile!!! Per chi non lo sapesse , nelle 11 canzoni che ci accompagnano in questo viaggio verso i Brunorock, è contenuto quel piccolo genio italiano di nome Alessandro Del Vecchio, già con Edge Of Forever, Glenn Hughes , ecc. - che qui ci delizia con le sue tastiere e folgoranti backing vocals!!! Insieme a Fair Warning, Los Angeles e Crash The System, questa è sicuramente l’uscita aor 2009 per antonomasia!!! Il talento di 5 immensi musicisti , messo al servizio di una manciata di brani sopra la media!!!
