Music
This could take forever if I wanted to get obsessive about it. But in a quick general way, I like almost any kind of music and I just like music. It's almost impossible for me to pick favorites because of the way I look at it. Some of them are, Wilco, A Tribe Called Quest, Outkast, Radiohead, Elvis Costello, Mos Def, The Band, Bob Dylan, Common, Ella Fitzgerald, Miles Davis (of course!), Tool, D'Angelo, Jimmy Smith Soulive, U2, Wu-Tang, Hound Dog, Toots and the Maytals, Tom Waits, Bob Marley (duh), Johnny Cash, Portishead, Nappy Roots, Eryka Badu, The Roots, Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin, The Animals, Muddy Waters, DJ Shadow, Biggie, Lenny Kravitz, Shuggie Otis, Cannonball Adderly, St. Germain, The White Stripes, Weezer, Le Tigre, The Walkmen and the list could go on ad infinum.

About me:
I love life. I'm happy to be alive, everyday, even the ones that aren't so good. I learn from those too. I'm just plugging along trying to do as much good as I can with the time I have. I try to lead a life which is an example of the love, honesty (the two are almost the same thing, but not quite),kindess, tolerance, understanding, compassion, and patience I believe in. I don't always live up to the mark I set for myself, but I set it pretty high so even when I do miss, I'm still not doing too badly. My friends (old and new) and family, all of my loved ones are the bright spot in my life, and I try my best to act like that toward them. It's a good life, and I'm happy to be sharing it with so many good people (those two things definitely have something to do with each other). Check out my blog for anything else.

Who I'd like to meet: People who are interested in laughing, enjoying life, and spreading that enjoyment as far and wide as they can. I don't get on well with people who have a nearly constantly negative outlook on things. I'd like to meet people who are trying to get as much enjoyment out life and sharing that feeling with as many people as possible. Add Tom Waits, David Fincher, Charles Barkley, Derek Jeter, Nicole Kidman, Catherine Zeta Jones, Francis Ford Coppola, Stan Lee, Chuck Palachniuk, Dave Chapelle, Chris Rock, George Carlin, Spike Lee, Martin Scorcese, Edward Norton, Naomi Watts, Sam Raimi, Natalie Portman, John Carpenter and most especially Wes Craven to the people I'd like to meet too...
These videos were all done by my buddy Jimmy Hook. I'd suggest watching them from Episode One First. You can find his work on both YouTube and LiveVideo. Go to either of those sites, and search Jimmy Hook.
Saw Shaun of the Dead the other day and noted the disturbing resemblance between you and Simon Pegg. I'd like to think that if I ever became a zombie you'd be kind enough to keep me in your tool shed and play video games with me.
