Alexa was born in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada in September 1993. Alexa gew up in a small town outside of Ottawa with a population of just a few thousand. Her only music opportunity was to sing in the school choir, which she did.
When Alexa was 10 years old, she left Canada for the U.S. and made Orlando, FL her home. Alexa then joined "The Pop Shop", singing and dancing with a group of young teens around the Orlando area at various charity events.
Alexa also entered the "Fashion Rock" contest at age 10. She was one of five finalists out of thousands and the youngest singer to be a finalist!
Still at age 10, Alexa went on to meet and work with famed diamond award winning producer, Tim Coons to further her singing aspirations. Alexa writes her songs as well as arranges the vocals! A truly amazing talent - especially given her young age! Alexa has said, "I love to write my own songs but I love to perform them even more."
While maintaining a straight A average, Alexa sings at different venues around Orlando with Tim Coons (Diamond award winning produder for backstreet Boys, N'Sync, Rob Thomas and he also discovered Jo Jo, the youngest female artist in history to have a 1 record). Alexa has also performed the National Anthem at the opening of athletic events.
Alexa's hope is to one day be known worldwide and if this is any indication, she is well on her way.
