"Alexa Hamilton's music is an original blend of pop, rock, country and acoustic", explains music producer Paul Inder. "Her songs remind me of the timeless classics of Carole King and Carly Simon with some Sheryl Crow thrown in."

"Singer/Songwriter Alexa Hamilton's (6 song) EP "Who Knew" shows a real knack for catchy material and the ability to put the songs over"....says Music Connection Magazine (reviewed 3/17/08)
"Let's Get Outta Here" is a crafty number with a good hook...and we really like "I Knew You When" , a countryish song with a sexy vocal. The ballad "I Know That It's Wrong" echoes Don Henley and suggests Hamilton could move even further towards country."
"A huge THANKS to Alexa Hamilton for her EP "Who Knew". There's not a bad song on there and it has been a great addition to our singer/songwriter Americana program."
Eric Cohen, Music Director, WAER Radio-Syracuse, NY
"I usually prefer the original over any cover, but occasionally such a great cover comes along that it's worth sharing with KPFT listeners. Alexa Hamilton's "What's Goin Down" (aka "For What It's Worth" by Stephen Stills) is so good that I have started my radio show ("Laurapalooza") with it!"

American audiences may best know Alexa Hamilton as an Actress. Beginning with her teenage debut as "The Invisible Woman" in an NBC TV movie, through to her most recent starring role in the 2006 miniseries version of "The Poseidon Adventure". But British audiences are more familiar with Alexa as a Singer and Stage Performer, having appeared (over the past 10 years) on Concert Tours and Theatre Productions throughout the UK and parts of Europe.
"I started out singing in a band" says Alexa, who recently emigrated back to LA from London.
Although it was her career as an Actress that first took off, she never stopped writing songs and would sometimes incorporate them into her acting projects. An original song of Alexa's "I Won't Let You Lose Me" (featured on her debut EP ) was used a capella for the opening theme in Scotland's Edinburgh Festival production of Sam Shepard's "Fool For Love", a play in which Alexa also starred.
But it wasn't until she returned to LA in 2007 that Alexa began to professionally record and release her own original material, beginning with her debut EP "Who Knew" now out on CD Baby and iTunes.

Alexa: I hope all is well in your world. I am going to Detroit next week for an event I'm doing, then flying from there on June 29th to Tucson, AZ, to film a TV pilot--the idea you and I talked about last winter!
I will be in Tucson from June 29 to July 3. I am coming to LA from there for a few weeks and so, in July, I will be in the neighborhood--and if you have any time I would love to see you.
I have to go to Chicago on July 24th but will most likely be in LA from the 4th to the 23rd of July.
