About me:
I cook, I dance, I do business. I live life as much as I can in my limited time on this earth and nothing is going to stop me from achieving what needs to be achieved. So I'm in my mid-20s and life has supposedly just started for me. A good friend of mine had told me "When you're young, you trade your time for your money but when you're older, you'll trade your money for time." Isn't it better to live while you are young and then really live it up when you're older? I don't watch TV on a normal basis (if I'm bored I'll watch the travel channel or foodtv to get some ideas on my next big trip).
So you think I'm heavily influenced by FoodTV? Well think again!!! I like to lead the trends, not follow them. I do have friends in the culinary business and New York is the place to be when it comes to cutting edge cuisine and creative presentation. If you love to eat, just hang around me long enough and we'll end up having some awesome meals. I have to admit, I love flavor so more than often, you'll see me ordering lots of appetizers and desserts instead of an entree. Another thing is that I don't despise vegetarians, just pity them. How can you live and experience everything if you have rules? Think outside the box and live outside the box. I'm creative when I'm cooking yet I always feel that food should be food, not toys. If I wanted to process the hell out of my food, I might as well just eat twinkies for the rest of my life.
So besides cooking, my other creative outlet is dancing. I swing dance!!! It's great for the body and it's very energetic. So far, I can dance Lindy, Hollywood, Balboa, Charleston, and West Coast but I will be learning more as time goes by. I'm trying to get out more and dance all over the world. Social dancing is great for me but I also believe that honing technique and training my body is important too. Come dance with me sometime (I lead AND follow)!!!! Currently, I'm part of the NYC Balboa Committee (http://www.nycbalboa.com that's my design =)) and I am going to be taking part in Hop Swing & a Jump's performance class as well as HKSwings in Hong Kong. I hope that I can find a dance partner soon since I want to compete and be good enough to stand along the best lindy hoppers in the world (one day....one day it WILL happen ;p).
My greatest love of my life (so far) is my business. I operate and own my own technical/business/financial consulting corporation and it's growing at an exponential rate. I hope to be one of the greats in business and I had always wanted to provide a needed service to the human race. I guess you can say that I like to make dreams come true. Anyways, enough about business!!! Please be friends on myspace with me hopefully we can meet up to eat, dance, or do business someday.
