Alexander Ligowski is without a doubt one of the most important »insiders« of psychedelic electronic music world wide. Due to his many years as Head of A&R at Nova Tekk, and from 2002 on continuing this work at the London labels Millennium Records/YSE Recordings, he has insider information and contacts second to none in all areas of the world wide Psytrance culture.
Alex started his DJ career in 1993 at the Bochumer Lurie. Residencies followed at X-Ray and at the legendary »Cult« in Arnsberg/Sauerland. Since 1999 he is a resident at the metro Events in the Ruhr area. He is a regular guest at numerous parties all over Europe as well as Israel.
As A&R at Nova Tekk, Ligowski signed some of the biggest musical innovators to his label D Drum, including X.Dream, The Delta, Midimiliz as well as Organic Noise; the more progressive oriented label Liquid Audio Sounds, also directed by Alex, awaited us with KoxBox, S.U.N. Project, Son Kite and the Saafi-Brothers Gabriel Le Mar and Michael Kohlbecker. Finally on the vinyl label Naja records he served up delicacies by artists including Atmos, Synchro, and Planet BEN. Within a short time he managed to both build up a hand picked artist pool, as well as make a lasting impression with innovative compilation concepts. The series »Tantrance« or »Pulse« are sought after collector’s items nowadays. Under Alexander Ligowski’s direction Nova Tekk was able to reach a unique position in the scene, and play a leading role in the development of Goa Trance.
In 2002 the UK label Millennium Records/YSE recordings obtained his services. Also in this case, within a short time, Alex succeeded in establishing the label into a leading position world wide. By featuring releases from well known artists such as Peter Gun, Andromeda, Ten Madison, Freddy Fresh and S.U.N Project, but also by promoting young artists of the new German Progressive and Goa Trance styles such as Neelix, Galactika, Optokoppler and Magoon, he managed to offer a high quality, and musically wide spread spectrum of music.
As a DJ Alexander Ligowski has access to the newest tracks and trends, and with driving and uplifting sounds he combines the most varying styles into one continuous rush- from Progressive to Psychedelic Trance!
Alexander Ligowski ist mit Sicherheit einer der »Key player« psychedelisch elektronischer Musik. Durch seine langjährige Label-Tätigkeit als Head of A&R bei Nova Tekk und Euromedia, ab 2002 beim Londoner Label Millennium Records/YSE Recordings besitzt er Kenntnisse und Kontakte wie kaum jemand anderes in sämtlichen Bereichen der weltweiten PsyTrance-Kultur.

2002 heuerte ihn das Londoner Label Millennium Records bzw. YSE Recordings an. Auch hier gelang es Alex, das Label in kürzester Zeit weltweit zu etablieren. Mit Releasen bekannter Größen wie Peter Gun, Andromeda, Ten Madison, Freddy Fresh und wiederum S.U.N. Project, aber auch mit dem Aufbau junger Künstler der neuen deutschen Spitze des Progressiven und Goa-Trance wie Neelix, Galactika, Optokoppler und Magoon deckt er ein qualitativ hochwertiges und musikalisch breitgefächertes Spektrum ab.
Als DJ hat Mr. Ligowski Zugriff auf allerneueste Tracks und Trends und kombiniert mit Druck und Uplift die verschiedensten Styles zu einer einzigen Abfahrt - von Progressive bis zu Psychedelic Trance!
