    Here's a recent review of my book by a tough British reviewer, John Lloyd from TheBookBag.co.uk

    The upshot of his review is:
    With hardly 1,000 days of the world to go, as I write this, we need this book either to explain what the flash fuss is about, or to consign ourselves to living in a bunker somewhere with 10,000 loo rolls and lots of tinned beans.
    Buy? Yes Borrow? Yes

    ...counter my experience and intuition, this book flows just as one would wish.

    I get the impression that Bruce can write about anything in an amenable fashion - hardly does her copious research get the better of her, and she's a clear conveyor of science - if you like her sometimes chatty style…

    There is a lot of fun here, as well as a lot of eschatology, which sounds heavy but isn't. We see the idea that Cromwell is to blame for some of our restrictive scientific thinking…Perhaps more importantly, we also see what the current-day Maya think of all the hoo-hah.

    I still don't know what might happen in a couple of years' time…But I'm certainly more knowledgeable through these pages about how inter-connected so much is.

    This is looking at the ideas with a scientific head, and…it's a lot less judgmental than many other volumes.

    You can read the sections where he beats me up and is less than flattering on their website but I'm happy for the kind words, above...

    MySpace is not telling me I have any comments, and I never bother to check because no one ever says anything to me anyway.

    36C, DAMN you're good!! ;)  I've been told bras are good for posture and make you look thinner.  I could care much about the latter, but I'm all for good posture so I've endeavored to start wearing them more often in public. ;)

    I got this off of a Starbuck cup and I liked it so much that I thought I would share it with you.

    "In a world where celebrity equals talent, and where make-believe is called reality, it is most important to have real love, truth and stability in your life."

    This is so true. I have found that having real love in my life to be so grounding and does not alow me to get stuck in make-believe land. Remember to seek out and treasure love in all forms.

    Ahh, sorry about the hardships of self employment... I don't think I could handle that kinda stuff, but then I'm not the creative type to feel the drive to.  Good luck, maybe you can promote some shows that help people wake up?

    Scary regarding the nuclear event comment, especially after Obama talked at the UN about non proliferation.  I'm not sure I would put much weight on the web bot project though, I listened to the Coast to Coast AM interview with the main guy, and he seems to be predicting some super specific stuff, kinda sounds too specific to be picking it up on the web... makes me think of COINTELPRO.

    Contrary to the evidence on my updated profile, I am not a Goth. The fonts and colors of this layout are the most readable of all the freebies...I could do without the steeple and the monarch butterfly on the ruined window...but it'll do, for today.

    Just starting the prep for the roll-out of my latest book...here's its site, with a free preview of the first few chapters:

    It's kinda like fun with how ancient mythology relates to astrophysics and knowing that God would never dis you, even if the solar system gets vaporized in our lifetimes.

    This BOOK was the bestseller at Blockbuster Video last week! "Whuh?" you ask? "The Secret" book FAR outsold the DVD. Maybe Blockbuster is onto something?
