Also check out Alex's interview with Tim Pyles in San Diego's FM 94.9 Studio.
"Alex's music is perfect for sitting on the beach watching the sun go down on a beautiful summer day."
-Tim Pyles (Radio DJ), San Diego's FM 94.9
"Arndt plays music that doesnt conform the mold of any specific genre of music... instead, Arndt produces a sound all of his own." ....
"Arndt has an appealing way of utilizing his voice and lyrics to match his melodies and evoke a mood. His lyrics and voice fit naturally with the music, as if one couldnt exist without the other."
-Lauren Proctor, Northeast In-Tune Magazine
"These are rock tracks recorded and performed with good energy and experience. The song writing is excellent and the instrumentation adds depth to the disc. This melody based singer songwriter formats and puts together these tracks with talent and well planned verse and chorus sections. Very radio friendly tracks all the way through. The vocals are a great fit for the material and the progressions are very catchy. The mix is done very well. Good production as well. This band is all around good rock songs with a lighter touch. Excellent songs from beginning to end."

"Alex Arndt and The Sonic Universe" will debut their album "Sonic Paradigm" this Spring 2010. This album has been written with the help of another songwriter Kay Glynn and a couple songs had been inspired from spiritual vegetarian warrior, Punya. "My Innocence Begins Today," which Arndt performed at Animal Rights 2008 in DC and the DC Climate Change Conference in 2009 is also a music video (produced by Infinite Spectrum Productions of Phoenix, AZ), which will be released with the new album.
Alex Arndt and The Sonic Universe presents ElectroRock that reveals both compassion and energy, distinctiveness and accessibility. His songs show the heart of a thoughtful songwriter that doesn't self-censor and who believes in emotional honesty. The music is full of melody and hooks, tempered with intelligence and unique creativity. This music shows how songs can be both pop-friendly yet imbued with artistic integrity.
Every Emotion Possible
“Music is everything to me,” says Arndt. And why shouldn't it be? It's the ultimate musical expression and somebody with the pure musical talent of Arndt should feel an intimate kinship with music. Indeed, his very personal relationship with song comes across in his music, drawing in the listener and making him a part of the rainbow of emotional experiences summed up in Arndt's songwriting. “Music lets me feel every emotion possible.” It's a universal experience focused into bursts of human creativity and conjured in moments of time and space. “Since music is made from vibrations of everything in the universe, everyone can understand it on some level. Music is passion flowing through my veins.”
Non-Contrived Inspiration
Arndt understands that for songs to have true identity and distinguish themselves from a big music industry comprised of everything from the best to the worst (Arndt's analysis of the realm of music), that the creator has to allow the inspiration to flow freely without trying to artificially bend it. “I am coming from the point of view where I am just writing from pure, non-contrived inspiration. The money means nothing to me.” The music is everything. Just ask anyone who's heard Arndt's songwriting. They'll tell you they feel the same thing. The music is everything.
Emotions
Music is an emotional being. Arndt understands that and makes sure that each and every time, emotional value is at the foundation of his songwriting. His tunes are wrapped around emotional expression, the coalescing in artistic form of the human feeling. “I find inspiration in my emotions.” He also understands that the key to those emotions is understanding that they are a reflection of the world that surrounds a person. “It's how the environment around me makes me feel at any given moment,” he says.

Sounds Like
Sweet AND spicy progressive rock'n'roll with a conscious message. Kinda like ... Anthony Kiedis and John Lennon meet for tea, meanwhile Scott Weiland and Brad Nowell rush the bathroom!
Dec. 2009: Alex Arndt has finished his new album. The band is called "Alex Arndt and The Sonic Universe." Alex has been writing these songs with a prolific songwriter, Kay Glynn and recording with an amazing producer, Kevin Fisher. The drummer, Keith Lawrence has also played a role in helping to re-orchestrate a few songs. Inspiration for a couple of the songs has come from a world peace and vegetarian activist, Punya.
The band, the music, the message.

Not fast enough to elude the police unfortunately, but I've got a much faster bike now. :D
Of course that mini-Harley (not mine really) barely sips gas, but even my Kawasaki Ninja ZZR, capable of 175 kph and 0-60 mph in 5.7 seconds, gives 80+ mpg hwy. This is about as green a personal vehicle as one can find capable of long distance travel, short of a full electric vehicle with a range of 250 miles per charge like the Tesla. But then, the Tesla costs $100,000, whereas the Ninja cost me barely $3000 with only 2,000 mi. on the odometer. And even if I had a full electric vehicle, as long as the electricity comes from coal, it's just like burning gas. By the way, the Ninja 250 is so popular with women it has the nickname of "Ninjette" (see www.Ninjette.org).
Regardless of gender, I strongly advise you to try out motorcycling as a means of transportation. Of course, the rider should be vegetarian if not vegan, to cut methane emissions from the animal industries. A vegan driving a Hummer emits less greenhouse gasses than a meat-eater riding a bicycle! Besides, short of flying, motorcycling is about as much fun as fun can get!

THE MIRACLE WORKER: for those who feel meaningless, powerless and worthless
Legend has it that in the Snows of Kilimanjaro, the carcass of a plains leopard was found; no one knows what the leopard was up there to seek. But when I ascended the great mountain, I knew, for I was there to seek the very same thing.
At pain of extra weight, I packed a gun, not that there anything to hunt up on that altitude, nor was I a hunter in any sense of the word. And in an ice cave amidst the cravasses of the glacier, when the setting sun suffused my chosen tomb with a rosey glow, I shed my last tear on the shoulder of no one who cared, said my final farewell to the cruel and meaningless world, and pointed the gun at my head...
