Alex Gibson is a Glasgow based singer/songwriter and instrumentalist,who is currently producing his own music.It is predominantly acoustic guitar driven in style at the moment, with a vocal on top and some other instrumental flavours thrown into the mix.Alex plays all the instruments and writes all the music and lyrics.
The songs are romantic at times,but also contain an edge,which can be heard lyrically or in the music itself. The songs are not uniform as they,come in different sizes and have space where the writer thinks it feels right to stop and rest or surprise the listener.
It has been hard to find a category for the music as there are elements of folk,jazz and rock in the songs,but Alex hopes that you enjoy them whatever category you may think they belong to.
