She is one of my biggest influences! She is my influence because :
- she is an amazing human being;
- she has a powerful voice;
- her lyrics are strong, direct and express her opinion with attitude.
Alexia DAndrea grew up in the urban intensity of multi cultural Brasil, more precisely Sao Paulo. The city which even defies poets in its social, cultural and geographical assymetries! Like most people from her generation, Alexia fed from American rock, especially the group Guns N Roses. The hybrid combustion of decadence, originality and rebellion captivated Alexia and helped her to nurture a long lived dream of one day moving to the City of Angels Forward to 2001 and Alexia made her dream come true, but the journey was just beginning! Like everyone struggling to find their place and indentiy under the sunny Los Angeles, Alexia enrolled in a singing and music course at the prestigious LACC, and since last year has been composing tracks with her musical partner and friend Thiago Correa, brazilian musician and producer, former Udora. Nowadays, Alexia has expanded her influences adding her own background as inspiration to her music, from R&B to Bossa Nova, from &0s music up to the 90s, including the American singer Pink, with whom Alexia is usually musically comapred to to her intense lyrics and vocals.
