Artist History :
Alexis VAN EECKHOUT, a self-taught musician and a student of the American Saxophonist J.R. MONTEROSE, comes back with what is called
a "JAZZ-FRESH" (chill-out) style.
His musical experience started at a very early age in his family.
His first instrument of predilection whas the Clarinet. He played some Classical pieces o f music with his father who was a professional Classical Composer, Organist, and Orchestra's Chief., Later, he played Tenor, Alto and Soprano saxophones with several Belgian bands .
Since 1997, he has focused on blending his musical experiences and influences in order to create his own style. Working on his musical phrasing, melody, harmonisation and rythm as well as on a global musical ambiance for each piece.
These pieces have been composed, performed ( Tenor-sax, Keyboards, Synth, Piano ), programmed ( Acoustic piano vsti, Fender piano, Guitars vsti, Violins vsti, Bass vsti, Double-Bass vsti, Drums and Percussions vsti ) and recorded by Alexis VAN EECKHOUT himself in his Home-Studio .
Truly, a music well suited for dream and evasion...
