The Eccentric album is hosted at alexanderleonhart.bandcamp.com to buy online.
The Cd is released also in hard-copy! You can pick some up from Alex in Lancaster PA or Farmville VA.
Alexander’s musical style is exploratory and innovative and could be classified as word-based rock accompanied by a thrift store.
He is most known for his imaginative lyrical themes, wacky tone, and intense performances.
With brilliantly innovative song craft he creates catchy melodies along with a distinct voice and clever character. Found in the niche of alternative indie rock, the music borrows from many genres and blends them into his own quirky musical concoction.
He is currently writing music at Longwood University, where he is majoring in Photography. When he is not on campus hijacking the piano practice rooms, he resides in Marietta, Pa.
The album The Eccentric has offbeat, delightfully unique compositions. The music concocted by standard instruments as guitar drums and bass but then includes unusual household and thrift store type items. Some of the instruments included: plumbing pipes, candle sticks, party tweeter, apple, toy piano, and rubber chicken.
Lyrically The Eccentric sings to you with theatrical slang and memoir snapshots of diner conversation. Alexander Leonhart takes you to the shoes of multiple peculiar characters surrounded with exploratory sounds that transcend to many musical spectrums. They unify to become The Eccentric. A incredibly unique album.
If you so do desire place this anywhere, feel happy.
