Born 13 February 1983, Alex composed his first work in 1998 and established his own website "alex's online - http://alexlam.tk" in 2003 to release his own works through the Internet.
With the beneficiency of the web, he introduced his music through different regional-based music site hostings around the globe, concentrating on the North America and Pan-Asian regions, such as US-based Myspace, Download.com, SoundClick, iSound, Japan-based Yamaha e-Music Club, Taiwan-based Rockacola and HK-based Green Coffee & RichMedia.
Alex composed with different music genres, such as pop, rock, electronica, traditional, contemporary, trance, tribal, dance-pop and acoustic pieces etc. which let his music reaches out a widespread popularity regardless listeners' nationalities.
Relating to his ability on playing piano, synthesizer, MIDI-programming, loops & samples mixing, recorder, harmonica, acoustic guitar, drums & percussion, and also his proficiency in different languages, he could write lyrics in Cantonese, English, Mandarin & Japanese, letting him a self-productive composer, lyricist, arranger & producer.
During his high school life, he act as school DJ for the breaking time and aroused awareness from his teachers and schoolmates.
On February 2004, he made his debut mini live with the Breakthrough Organization and Uzone21.com to release his songs besides the Internet. After then on April, he participated in an online music programme "Studio Attack" produced by Hong Kong's RichMedia mainly for music news and editorials also hosted by Elaine Kasumi Leung & Cherry Nikita Wong.
In late 2004, he won five awards from his own music composition and proses hosted by Hong Kong Education City, while one of his featured instrumental single "INSIDE MY MIND" also records an ultimate 50,000 download hits in the site, which is still one of the everlasting and durable record for the corporation.
In 2005-2006, he started a new kind of atmospheric, natural and ambient creation, the image. Seven of his own proses, images and music creations also featured in Uzone21.com and Metro Radio Showbiz 997 during the moment, including Spanish traditional guitar work "Flamingo Hop" and female vocal featuring single "TELL..." collaborated with vocalist Yuri Masuda from Japanese pop group "move" courtesy of avex tune.
In 2007, he started another kind of bloggings in personal finance and investment in Japan-based Excite and Oricon, which targetted different segments of web surfers in financial and investment field and created a ubiquitous web-ring collaborative effect for his digital music production and money management perspective.
