Biografia del Artista(Spanish)

Alex Loza, artista que prestigia al Perú en el ámbito de la pintura. Sus obras se destacan por su sello único e inconfundible en los trazos, color, el claroscuro y las explosivas emociones de sus personajes. Su trayectoria en el medio incluye la participación en eventos festivos donde se celebra y exalta la cultura e independencia del Perú y la cultura Latina. Algunas de sus participaciones han sido con el banco ABN AMRO en Chicago, IL titulada “The Hispanic Art Fair”, la celebración de la Independencia del Perú en la Plaza Daley y Chicago Día de los Niños.

Sus obras han impactado tanto localmente como internacionalmente. Tanto así que el compositor y músico Peruano; Gerardo Rehuel Sánchez lo categoriza como “…un joven que está catalogado ya, como uno de los mejores pintores del mundo” “…que merece estar clasificado en el grupo de las diez personas jóvenes en el extranjero y que son "Orgullo del Perú", y “LO MEJOR DE LO NUESTRO”. A esto la licenciada en Historia del Arte Asun Carrillo agrega desde España “…que sus obras están llenas de raíces profundas, que le hace crear una paleta cromática viva, rebosante de frescura y de acentuadas emociones”. La cantante Criolla RosaLuz "La Voz Morena del Peru" dice que Alex “…a pesar de la distancia lleva a su Perú en la Sangre y mas aun en su arte derramando esencia Peruana a su paso por otros lares.” Y el cinematógrafo y productor Peruano Juan Carlos Ogañes dijo que "... en verdad es un orgullo tener un compatriota con talento de sobra y tan bien instruido en la materia.” También se han escrito artículos sobre el en el periódico La Raza de Chicago, IL., New York Post y en el periódico digital Peruano Crónica Viva.

En el 2005 junto a su amigo y compatriota; el escultor Luy Ken pasan a formar parte de IN2IT INTERNACIONAL, agencia que representa otros artistas, escultores, muralistas, bandas y musicos tales como Juanes, Victor Manuelle, Rey Ruiz, Lifehouse, Steve Green, Jaci Velasquez y Salvador por mencionar algunos.

A finales del 2007 el artista Alex Loza paso a formar parte de los artistas que el señor José Barrera, Director de la Academia Columbia Explorers, comisiona para pintar retratos de héroes mexicanos para colección de dicha institución. A principios del año 2008 el retrato de la poetisa Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz podrá ser visto por miles de niños, jóvenes y amantes de arte.

Aunque los años pasan, Alex siempre ha mantenido su visión y misión “Exaltar y compartir los valores, historia y riquezas de la cultura latina”.

Artist's Bio (English)

Alex Loza, an artist that honors Peru through his paintings. His works are emphasized for their unique and unmistakable seal in the lines, colors, the chiaroscuro (the distribution of light and shade in a picture) and the explosive emotions of their personages. Their path includes the participation in several events (festivals) where is celebrated and exalts the culture and independence of Peru and the Latin American culture. Some of his participations have been with ABN AMRO bank in Chicago, Illinois titled "The Hispanic Art Fair", the celebration of the Independence of Peru in Plaza Daley and Chicago Dia de los Niños.

His works have impacted so many people locally as internationally. So much so that the Peruvian composer and musician, Gerardo Rehuel Sánchez categorizes him as "…a youth that is catalogued already, as one of the best painters of the world" "…that deserves to be classified in the group of the ten young people abroad and that are" Pride of Peru", and "THE BEST OF THAT WHICH IS OURS". To this the Art History Professor, Asun Carrillo adds from Spain "…that his works are full of deep roots that causes him to create a vivid chromatic palette, full of poise and of accentuated emotions". The Native singer, RosaLuz "The Native Voice of Peru" says that Alex "…in spite of the distance he carries Peru in his blood but even more in his art which leaks Peruvian essence in his steps by other hearths." And the Peruvian producer Juan Carlos Ogañes said that "... in truth is a pride to have a countryman with talent to spare and so well educated in the matter." Also there have been articles written in the, “La Raza” (Hispanic newspaper) in Chicago, Illinois, New York Post and in the digital Peruvian newspaper “Cronica Viva" (Live Chronic).

In 2005 next to his friend and countryman; sculptor Luy Ken become part of IN2IT INTERNATIONAL, an agency that represents other artists, sculptors, muralists, bands and musicians such as Juanes, Victor Manuel, Rey Ruiz, Lifehouse, Steve Green, Jaci Velasquez and Salvador just to name a few.

At end of 2007 the artist Alex Loza steps to form part of the artists that Mr. José Barrera, Principal of the Columbia Explorers Academy who commissions local painter to paint portraits of Mexican heroes for collection of said institution. At the beginning of the year 2008 the portrait of the woman poet Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz will be able to be seen by thousands of children, youths and art lovers.

Although the years pass, Alex has always maintained his vision and mission “to Exalt and to share the values, history and wealth of the Latin American culture.”
