Originaire de Montpellier, dans le sud de la France, Alex Millan
découvre rapidement dans la musique une source d’inspiration. A 16 ans
il monte un groupe de Pop Rock Fusion dans lequel il exerce en tant que chanteur. Influencé par des groupes tels que Depeche Mode, The Sisters
of Mercy, Rage Against the Machine ou encore Noir Désir, il joue dans les différentes salles de concert de la ville.
C’est en 1997 que commence l’épopée électronique !
Alex Millan fait ses débuts aux platines dans les petits endroits électro de
sa ville natale. Grâce à une réputation croissante, il intègre en 2000 le
célèbre club français la Villa Rouge, connu pour accueillir les plus grands
noms de la scène électronique mondiale. Il partage alors les platines
avec Laurent Garnier, Sven Väth, Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Derrick May…
Alex Millan est de plus en plus sollicité dans son pays et se produit dans des festivals et soirées prisées. Il fréquente aussi bon nombre de clubs étrangers.
Fin 2003, poussé par ses inspirations, il se lance dans la composition et réalise sa première signature en avril 2004 sur le label parisien Hypnotic
Music. Son titre "Maria Rosa" est un succès. Alex devient rapidement
fasciné par le monde de la production et se fait connaître comme un artiste en perpétuelle recherche d'innovation. Il accumule alors les sorties sous différents labels et ses titres sont souvent plébiscités par les plus grands.
2008 est l’année de la concrétisation !
La carrière d’Alex Millan prend un nouveau tournant quand il signe sous le prestigieux label allemand Kompakt. Le Speicher 62 représente pour lui le fruit de plusieurs années de travail et donne un nouveau souffle à sa carrière. Son titre "Ironik", co-écrit avec Lorent Air, figure parmi les hits Electro / Techno de l’année 2008.
Cette même année il réalise 9 autres sorties (singles, various, remixes)
sous différents labels étrangers et ouvre sa musique à l’international :
3rd Wave Music (Allemagne), Orbiter Music (Allemagne), Style Of Life Records (Espagne).
2009, l’ascension continue. Alex est de plus en plus sollicité et signe
sur d’importants autres labels : Craft Music (Allemagne), DJ Center
(France), Renaissance Recordings (Angleterre), Catwalk Records
(Allemagne).

of his hometown. In 2000, his reputation increasing, Alex Millan joins the

of the world electronic scene. He then shares the decks with Laurent
Garnier, Sven Väth, Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Derrick May…
Alex Millan is more and more solicited in his country and performs in famous festivals and parties. He also frequents many foreign clubs.
At the end of 2003, pushed by his inspirations, he starts composing, and signs in April 2004 under the Parisian label Hypnotic Music. His title "Maria
Rosa" is a success. Alex quickly becomes fascinated by the production
world and is then known as an artist in perpetual search of innovation.
He accumulates the releases under various labels and his titles are often applauded by the biggest.
2008 is the turnaround year. Alex’s Millan career takes a new step when he signs under the prestigious German label Kompakt. Speicher 62 represents many years of work and brings a new breath to his career.
His title "Ironik", co-written with Lorent Air, appears among the Electro / Techno hits of year 2008.
In the meantime, he realizes 9 other releases (singles, various, remixes)
under different foreign labels and opens his music to the international: 3rd Wave Music (Germany), Orbiter Music (Germany), Style Of Life Records(Spain).
