Me, and various friends who play for very little money because they're my friends. Now, that's taking the meaning of "friends" a little farther than myspace.
Influences
Now this list could possibly change depending on the time of day or what mood I'm in. But for now let's start with a few that happen to be coming to mind at this moment: Coldplay, Switchfoot, U2, John Mayer, Tom Petty, Oasis, Snow Patrol, Radiohead, Damien Rice, The Police, MuteMath, Muse, Lifehouse, Johnny Cash, Jimmy Eat World, The Beach Boys (call it cheesey, but those guys could write some songs), The Beastie Boys, I wish I could say the Spice Girls here just to break the monotony of "...Boys" groups-but I'm afraid I can't, instead we'll go from boys to "Girl toys", ie. The GooGoo Dolls, (what is a GooGoo Doll anyway?) Fatboy Slim, Daft Punk, Don Henly, Dido, Delirous?, Matt Redman, The Cranberries, and I suppose you could throw Beck in the mix too. Why not? Dude knows how to make some weird noises! Now whether or not you hear all these influences in my music is a different story.
As far as influences in life; which we all know influences your music, I'm gonna have to go with: God, My Parents, Louie Giglio, A.W. Tozer, C.S. Lewis, Henry Blackaby, Matt Redman (Hey! This guy must be important. He made it on the list twice! Hmmm...), Andy Stanley, Erwin McManus, John Piper, and a bunch of close friends that won't get mad when they find that their names aren't written here. That list would be far too long.
I think that about does it... at least for right now.
