About me:

I'm Alex, a blue eyed, dirty blond haired 6 foot tall dude who lives with two other roommates in an apartment. I have an awesome girlfriend (who is not a dude mind you), and some of the best and strangest friends anyone could ask for. Jesse, Anthony, Jasper, Tyler, and Blake just to name a few, and even though we're all different, we have this amazing way of getting along and having a ball all the while. Ashley, however, is on another level of amazing. She's a nursing student at Tech, and an incredibly hard worker, all the while somehow putting up with my exasperating and incessant whining (LOL). Did I also mention that I enjoy using the wonderful and extensive vocabulary that God has given me? No? Well I do. And Ashley likes to remind me of this often, seeing as I have a tendency to annoy the people around me because of this fact. Anyways, I was born in Lansing, Michigan, and currently live in Cookeville, Tennessee. I drive a Dodge Stratus, have a sound system, and like to drive fast (although I realize I shouldn't, and make the attempt to limit myself at how often and how much I exercise this dangerous and illogical habit). I'm a good driver, despite what you may be thinking (I know you were thinking otherwise), and I am quite safe. I really like cars, sound systems, and all the like, but with my lack of money, find myself at a loss to be able to fulfill my tastes and desires in the area. I currently attend Tennessee Technological University as a Sophomore (I'm supposed to be a Junior, which I blame on engineering since it screwed me over the first two years at Tech), and I am majoring in Marketing. I made the Dean's List this semester, and am ecstatic about it. I wish to be successful, be able to support my family and wife through a comfortable lifestyle, and live a life that rewards me for the hard work that I have given throughout its course. I am a Christian, and if you read my blog about Christianity, then you will gain a better grasp on my personal philosophical standpoint. I hope you do this, because I'm not going to type it all out here. :D Now to the fun part, I love music! I have recently developed a growing love and infatuation for Metal (and all the genres that coincide), which seems to only grow every day. Other than Metal, I like Christian, Rock, Hip Hop, Rap, Jazz, Classical and Orchestral, Pop, and VERY, VERY LIMITED Country. I have a sound system in my car with two eight inch subwoofers, both of which I love and adore, with which I use to feed my addiction to bass and REALLY loud music. :D I generally use them on their edge for bass from bass testers and rap, but I'm a metalhead, so I BLAST metal from them to my joy and rapture. I try to be as respectful as possible with them, because I know that not everyone feels the same way about my music as I do, but I'm not perfect either, so if you happen to see me and become angry, offended, or anything else, I apologize forthwith, it's nothing personal! But on the subject of metal, I really want to be in a band, and I really want to learn how to play guitar and drums, and would like to participate in said band in any position, but vocalist would be preferred. :D We'll have to see on that one... I have a PS3, I love it to death, and I love video games, but I won't go into that too much, for it's not a terribly exciting subject...
